Ellen Page Received Life Threats From A "Fan" On Twitter
Allen Page can unfotunately relate to Selena Gomez, but not because she's seen Justin Bieber naked:
The actress has sought help from the Los Angeles Police Department over a few death threats left for her by a "fan" on Twitter.
Sources confirm to TMZ that police have obtained a search warrant for the social networking site in order to investigate various posts directed at the Inception star in June.
One reads ""I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead," awhile another is equally disturbing: "Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year, Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs."
The Tweets have been removed, but authorities continue to look into the issue.
Making the threats even more eerie and worth taking seriously? Organizers of the LA Film Festival, where Page premiered To Rome with Love on June 14, received a phone call around the same time from someone who said he would show up at the event and "kill" the actress.
