Sajel Hathi Is Determined To Chang Tha Fate Of The Girls Of The World

Sajel Hathi belongs to the third big city San Jose of American State of California. She has determined to change the fate of the girls in the world. To achieving her goal, she joined an organization "Girls For A Change" working for the welfare of the girls, when she was in 9th grade. When she reached to 10th grade, she was included in the National Board Of Directors of the organization. Then she got increased chances to of having contacts with National Youth Council and Youth Service America. Working with the both organization she came to know that she got more awareness than her other friends. She though that the girls of the world do not trust their potentials.
Meanwhile, Sajel got a chance from "Girls For A Change" Varfore (Sudan), there she felt that girls of the developing countries had no resources to exploit their potentials. This thinking made her establish organization "Girls Helping Girls" to strengthen the girls of the world. She was of 15 years at the time.
She wanted to help the girls to attain education and to provide them the necessities that could build their lives, through her organization. Sajel had the vision but did not know to shape it practically. She consulted her school principal Miss Raley for guidance. Then she applied for Ashoka Youth Venture Program. Through this program Sajel came to how to access the people and how to organize and activate them.
Sajel first of all, advertised her organization in school, she advertised in local newspapers and arranged lunch meetings. She included only girls in her basic team because girls work with zeal and commitment.
During the coming days girls started joining and making themselves the part of her organization one after another. She started to advertise the objectives of her organization in foreign papers to attract girls of the world and she succeeded in her attempt. Her success can is indicated by the fact that today thousands of girls are working under the umbrella of "Girls Helping Girls". Its networkd has been established in more than 20 countries.The girls of the organization are working in four sections according to the UN Millennium Development Goals that include;- 1) Alleviation of poverty. 2) better access to education. 2). Promotion of health care facilities. 4). Promotion of Peace.
The girl members of the Sajel's organization use different methods to raise the funds to fulfill the basic amenities of life of the deserving girls and send them for higher education to foreign countries. They organize charity dinners, selling of different items also make the part of funds,writing letters to wealthy people, girls visit schools, churches, and service clubs in the whole country and all the funds thus raised are spent directly in the running projects in thedeveloping countries. Sajel and her colleagues purchase stationary for the girls, provide them scholarships and school uniforms, lunch programs are arranged and libraries are established. Thus a young girl Sajel Hathi is changing the world.
