The USA's Navy Warplanes Squadron Was Named "Crusaders"

A squadron of American Navy consisting of Harnet Warplanes is called VMFA-122. In the recent past its present commander Lieutenant Colonel Red Vegal named it "Crusaders" showing his extreme hatred to the Muslims. Moreover, he termed symbol of his troops as Red cross synonymous to the symbol of ancient crusades the Knight Temple-rs.
Actually, the name of this squadron remained crusaders from 1958 to 2008 and symbol was red cross. In 2008 the then commander Lt William Limeen realized that both the name and symbol have religious aspect. William then changed the name to Werewolves and symbol to Wolf.
William brought these changes due to two reasons, first under the American constitution government and religion have separate identities, so the name and symbol of any government organization can not be kept on the religious basis. Secondly, Willaim noted that the name and symbol both belong to middle age era when christian armies attacked Muslim territories and established their colonies. Therefore, these symbols of the soldiers could be taken as crusaders who have been deployed in the Muslim countries. This act would have been gone against them, so the memories of crusades were abolished.
Wed Vegal again made symbols the part of the squadron. A NGO "Military Religious Freedom Foundation" that is working for protecting the rights of non Christians in the US armed forces under under Colonel (R) Mike received complaints against this change in the squadron from secular soldiers. These soldiers wrote in the complaint that while changing the symbols colonel told hid subordinated that enemy had brought their God in the battle field so we will also bring our lord and Christ in the battle.
Col (R) Mike wrote letter to the authorities of of American navy that the new symbols of the VMFA 122 squadron may be restored because it the violation of the national secular constitution. He also threatened to challenge this issue in the court and sue the navy if the symbols are not changed.
