A Sou Moto Action Of CJP Against His Son Is A Historical Step--- Transparency Int'l

Transparency International of Pakistan has greatly appreciated the sou moto action of chief justice of Pakistan against his son Dr Arsalan and a business tycon Malik Riaz and began hearing of the accused corruption case against them. TIP has termed it a history making step and Chaudhary Iftekhar has added a golden chapter to the history of justice and law. His son can go behind the bars if verdict comes against him. Chairman of TIP Sohail Mazhar said that corruption in Pakistan was sky touching and was on extra ordinarily highest level. The verdicts of the apex court had been violated deliberately. The treatment of prosecuting agencies are conflicting. TIP assured the apex court full support and endorsement regarding Dr Arsalan 's case. Chairman of TIP also said that their institution was supportive of each and every step of the apex court taken against the corrupt people of every walk of life of the society. The advisor to TIP Syed Adil Gilani said that the claim of chief justice was not a simple slogan that each and every body may it be chief executive, powerful intelligence agencies or any member of his family is equal in the eyes of law and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary had proved it.
