Remaining Single For A long Time Is Impossible For Me--- Veena Malik

The actress says she is in a relationship but refuses to divulge any details because the last time she did that, her 'life was in a mess'
Veena Malik is not taking any chances with her love life this time. Much to her dismay, her infamous love life has been fodder for tabloids for far too long, and even though she says there's someone in her life, she refuses to divulge any details this time.
"My personal life was chaotic and kind of a mess. But now it's completely settled. But this time I'm not going to talk about it. Yes, there is someone who takes care of me, there's someone whom I really, really love, someone who adores me, but this time I'd like to keep it a hush-hush thing. I'm the kind of person who can't live alone, I need somebody around me to take care of me because I am such a spoilt brat. When "Swayamvar" was happening, for the first time in my life I was single for 5-6 months. For me, remaining single for such a long time is impossible," she says.
Veena was supposed to marry, or at least get engaged to be married, on the fourth season of " Swayamvar" on a channel that shut down some time back. She clarifies, "The makers are in talks and are negotiating with various channels. It might happen. Even if it doesn't, there must be some reason for it." But if there is already someone in her life, how can she marry on a show? "It's not like I am not going to marry that person, it's just that there's someone who takes care of me and who loves me. And if "Swayamvar" happens, I'll ask this person to come on the show," she says.
But she insists that her love life isn't her priority right now. "First it's my career, then my family and fans, and then comes my love life," she says. After doing a couple of item songs in Hindi films, for which she says, "I've just done two item songs. Do items songs toh mera khayal hai har lead actress ne kiye honge. I don't think I can be labelled an item girl because of that." She's finally making her debut as a lead actress in Bollywood in "Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai". According to her, Bollywood is very different from the Pakistan film industry. "It's like aap nadi mein hote hain, wahan se aap ek samundar mein aa jate hain. Exposure-wise, in every way, the Indian film industry is far better than the Pakistani film industry. But I hope and pray that the Pak industry gets the same prestige jo ke aaj se 30 saal pehle thi," she says.
She's also signed the Kannada version of "The Dirty Picture", which she says is a more serious take on the South actress' life. "The Kannada version is a more serious approach to Silk's life. Tamil films ke bahut bade naam iss film mein kaam kar rahe hain. I think I have a very strong script to work with here," she says.
