Democracy In Bangladesh Turned Into Political Revenge

Conflicts between opposition and government continue always but, this times these are a bit different. All the opposition parties specially the Bangladesh National Party and Jamat e Islami are accusing Haseena Wajid of worst political revenge. Bangladesh is facing serious problems so the popularity graph of Haseena Wajid is going down and her success in the next election looks difficult. This is the reason that she is putting the leadership of both the major parties into jails. As the media is slave to the government so she is practicing media trials against the opposition.
Intelligence agencies kidnap the active BNP leaders and workers in the bright day light and then their whereabouts are not known. So far 33 leaders of the party have been arrested. Party has took to the streets against the harsh attitude of the government. Strikes and protests have started through out the country on the appeal of BNP ( according to the latest reports, clashes between police and protesters have claimed several lives).
Courts are also under the control of government. BNP says clearly that government is crushing the opposition through courts. Baseless cases have been filed against the opposition leaders. Recently, acting secretary general of BNP Fakhr e Alamgir and former mayor of Dhaka, Sadiq Hussain have been arrested.
Former president Khalida Zia said that the chief justice of supreme court belonged to the ruling party. Court decided separate verdicts for the opposition and for the government. The close friend Kamal Hussain of the father of Sheikh Haseena, the late Sheikh Mujeeb ur Rahman said that the present system of the court was worst than the jungle law.,
