Member of national assembly Capt (R) Safdar, who is the son-in-law of deposed former PM Nawaz Sharif, strongly and emotionally on the floor of national assembly demanded ban on hiring Qadianis (Ahmadis) in the armed forces and other important institutions of the country. He reiterated his stance on the Finality of Prophethood (Peace Be Upon Him). Safdar also demanded administering oath of Finality of Prphethood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the officers of Grade-22 and judges. He again demanded withdrawal of a decision of naming a department of Quade Azam University (QAU) after Nobel Laureate Dr Abdul Salam, who belonged to Ahmadiyya community. The department should be named after a Muslim. He termed Qadiani danger to the country and questioned the loyalty of Ahmadis to the state of Pakistan.
