76 Foreign Films Will Compete For Oscars
Seventy six foreign films will compete for 86th Oscar Awards as best foreign language film. Pakistan has sent film "Zinda Bhag" produced by Mano Gohar and Farjad Nabi. The central roles have been played by Naseerud Din Shah and Amna Ilyas. According to details the the awrds funtion will be held on March 02, 2014. While the final nominations of the films to be included in the competition will be announced on Jauary 16 after short listing. India has sent "The Good Road" film dircted by Giyan Koray for foreign film category. Iran has ent the film "The Past" directed by Osacar Award winner Asjar Farhadi. Farhadi has already won awards for his film "A separation". Other countries who nominated their films for Osacar awards include Nepal, Italy, Argentina, Austria, France, Bangla Desh, Egypt, Bosnia, China and Japan. Saudi film will also be included for the awards. Afghanistan did not lad befind in the race, it has also sent its film Wajma" for the Oscars.
