Egyptian Armed Forces Secures State Television Studios

As the deadline nears, Egyptian army is increasing its presence in different places of Cairo. Security sources say that Egyptian troops with armoured vehicles have secured the Central Cairo Studios of State Television today. As a deadline approaches when the army high commond is expected to step in and reorder the Egypt's political institutions, the sources said the staff not involved in working on live broadcast had left the building. Military sources told reporters that army had drafted a plan to sideline Mursi and suspend the constitution after a 5 PM (1500 GMT) dealine passes. Coordinated with political leaders, an interim council wuld rule pending new elections. Facing the expiry of 48-hour ultimatum set by the head of armed forces that Morsi should agree a power-sharing deal with his rivals, Mursi broadcast a defiant, if somewhat rambling, address to the nation to defend his "legetimacy" a word he used repeatedly in the course of 45-minute TYHree hours after his midnight television appearance, the military high commond responded wth a post on its Facebook page. The post said they too were willing to lay down their lives to defend their position- one which they described as defending the Egyptian people from "terrorists, radicals and fools." Unfortunate my Egyptian Muslim Brothers, you have lost the path and you are astrayed and would not find your destination which is ;lost now. You will regret after you came in the grip of army. Bad Luck for you.
