ISI and Former Heads Of ISI Have Immunity In Bombay Attack Case-- NY Court
In the New York court the American Foreign office has maintained the stance that ISI and its foirmer heads have immunity regarding Mombay attacks during 2008. While Indian foreign office has termed American stance as a disappointing one. According to Indian secret agency has said that American foreign office has presented its statement in the Brokelane court in New York about eliminating Lashkar e Tayyaba and help India in culminating terrorism. Thecase was filed by an American who was wounded in Bombay attacks and ythe relatives of other four persons killed in the attacks. Court had summoned the present head of ISI Ahmad Shuja Pasha and former ISI head Nadeem Taj to present themselves in the court. Two officers of Pakistan army Major Ali and majhor Iqbal aswell as Zaki ur Rahman Lakhvi of Lashkar e Tayyaba and Hafiz Saeed of Jamat ud Dawa were also summoned. The ISI was accused of having given training to the bombay attackers and helpinfg them while Lashkar e Tayyaba was accused of attacking the Taj hotel in Bombay. Thecase was highlighted the time when Kareem Khan from North Waziristan agency hasd sent legal notices toAmerican secretary defence Robert Gates, CIA head Adwards Panneta and CIA head in Islamabad Jonathan. Jonathan was called by the US saying that his had life threat in Pakistan.
