Kidney transplant is the major procedure to get recover from the ravages of Lupus. What makes the story so touching is that Selena's friend and fellow actress Fransia Raisa donated her kidney. Selena broke the transplant news this morning but Raisa is speaking out and sharing what she gained from the experience. This is a kind of ride -or-die friendship that many can only dream of. Raisa may not be as well known as Selena but both have referred to each other as sister and "hermana". Selena Gomez had been suffering from the disease Lupus, which is an autoimmune disorder in which immune system attacks healthy tissues and it incurable disease and leads to death. Even someone like Selena who could afford top notch treatment had to have a kidney transplant.
