Hindus Got Angry On Condom Ad Featuring Sunny Leone Ahead Of A Hindu Festival (Video)

Indian authorities torn down dozens of billboards yesterday after a slew of complaints over an advertisement depicting a former porn star Sunny Leone promoting condoms ahead of a major Hindu Festival. The image of Sunny, advertising contraceptives ahead of the religious celebration of Navaratri proved too much for some in the western state of Gujrat. The advertisement features no image of a condom, but stokes outrage in conservative India India for its slogan "play with love this Navaratri" In a written complaint the confederation of All India Traders accused the condom manufacturer behind the risque ad of taking marketing" to an all time low". They said in a statement" this is an immature attempt to boost sales by by putting all ur cultural values at stake".

Extremists Hindus took particular umbrage at the link between sex and Nayratri, a nine-day Hindu festival of fasting and prayer. Local authorities3 in Gujrat, the home state of Pm Modi, removed the advertisements as controversy mounted.
