A Thai Man, 58, Has Got 120 Wives And 28 Children With Them

Though plygamy is illegal in Thailand, a man has 120 wives and 28 children with them. What even more unsusual is that all women know about each other and are fine with the arrangements.

Tambon Prasert, the head of Phromnee district, in Thailand's Nikorn Navok province, some 90 km from Bangkok, was recently f0rced to admit that he illegally taken over 100 wives, after reporters were tipped off by anonymous sources. The 58-year-old local politician and owner of a successful construction business, recently welcomed members of media into his home to shed some light on his family life, after they traveled to Phromnee to confirm their leads. Asked if it was true that he had more than 100 wives all across the country, Prasert as a matter of fact said," I have 120 wives and 20 sons and daughters". But one does not reach that impressive number of wives just in a few years. He said he started very young when he was just 17 years old. His first wife was one or two years younger than him and they had three children. After that he had a string of others. Most of them are young women and all are under 20. He said he did not like older ones as they argue too much. Prasert's newest wife 27-years-old Nam Fon was right by his side during his interview. This gentleman when took a new wife always told her that he had already many and would marry again. Twenty two of his wives near his home in the district while others are based all around Thailand. He provided all the facilities equally to all of his wives. If any of his wife did not have house, he built for her a new house. He said I married all with the permission of their parents in an organised ceremonies, according to customs and traditions. It is not clear whether he will face any legal consequences for polygamy.
