A young man from the Indian city of Lucknow has undergone sex change surgery to be able to live normal life with his lover across the border in Pakistan. Meera, previously known as Gaurav, had affairs with woman and was about to marry when she met Rizwan over a social networking site in connection with her PhD work. The topic was related to sufism. Rizwan also represents a Sufi school of thought and was helping her understand nuances of her work. The lovers who have not met in person till date, felt their bond grew as the conversation increased with time. Meera s likely to meet her beloved when he visits her in March. Meera's decision for sex change surgery came when Rizwan's mother started searching wife for him. Though her family members were against her decision but Meera has undergone three surgeries in August, September and October. Meera s a Kathak dancer.
