Pakistan's critical defense analyst Zaid Hamid who has been in Saudi Arabia jail for more than four months has now been released. One TV channel claimed that he landed today at Islamabad airport from Pakistan International Airline flight. However, Pakistan foreign office has not confirmed the news yet. Earlier news were circulating that Zaid Hamid had been killed under Saudi custody, but the rumour was rejected by his wife. It is pertinent to mention here that Zaid Hamid was arrested during his private visit to Saudi Kingdom along with his wife, for his controversial and hate-provoking speeches against Saudi Arabia. He was later sentenced 15 lashes and 8 years in jail.
