Karzai's Visit To India May Increase Tension Between Pakistan And Afghanistan
Afghan President Hamid Karzai is proceeding to India on three-day visit from today. According to political analysts this will result in increasing the tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan after border conflicts. Karzai will discuss the border situation with prime minister Manmohan Singh and other Indian authorities during his visit. The observors say that the demand of modern weapons from India for Afghan security forces is the part of agenda to be considered. The analyst WAdeer Safi said Pakistan was seeing this visit in the background of present border tensin. In which both the countries accuse each other for cross birder firing. It is noteworthy that India and Afghanistan had signed a security agreement two years ago. However, India is waiting for the pull out of NATO forces from Afghanistan next year. India wants to increase its influence in war hit Afghanistan against Pakistan in exchange of help in the form of arms. Though India has already a lot of influence in Afghanistan which it is using to carry out terrorit activities in Pakistan through Afghanistan.
