Internet Enemy And Internet Friendly Countries Of The World








If we have a look regarding internet censorship on government level then it is clear according to the reports of analist organizations like Open Net Intiatives,Reporter with out border, Freedom House and Human Rights Organization, on thebasis of poliptical and other different conditions till 2012, the internet enemy countriers, include Bahrain, Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkamanistan, Arbakistan and Vietnam. Among China is on top in banning the freedom of expression and using sofwares to monitor internet users. The countries where government monitoring is done under special interests on internet are Australia, Egypt, Iretaria, France India, Kazakistan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates. According to the reports of the organization the countries where there is no monitoring of internet on government basis include Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Bangla Desh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada , Chilli, Columbia, Crutia, Zcheck Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Gueta Mala, Hungry, Iceland, Iraq, Ireland, IUsrael, Japan, Kenya, Liouse, Litvia, Lebanon, Malavi, Mexico, Nepal, Netherland, Newzea Land, Nigeria, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Phillipine, Poland, Romania, Rawanda, Silvania, South Africa, Sweden, Uganda, Ukrain, Britain, America, Venzuevala and Zambabve. It is note worthy that according to organizations though in the above later mentoned countries the tools of internet for using political, social and controvertial issues are free from government monitoring but it is true that internet providers are directed to provide information about internet users. For example FBI of the USA takes it as its right to have access to the personal information of the net users. According to search engine Google received 21,000 during the first nine months of last year reguests from different countries to remove some websites or some of the contents. Google recived 8, 000 such requests from the USA in which was tried to know the information about the users seasrching on search engines. While, Turkey was on top to urge Google to remove web addresses or contents. Therefore, now Google and other serch engines have added featre of "Do not track" button to protect the searches of the net users. In Pakistan too after the approval of "fair Trial Bill 2012" the secret agencies have gotton power to monitor SMS's and emails of the users. Rather after the approval of the bill agencies can have access to the "Internet Protocol Detail Record" (IPDR) of the internet users.
