Top Politicians Including Sharif Family And Chaudhary Bros Are Bank Defaulters
The top brass of the Pakistani politicians including Nawaz Shatif, Shahbaz Sharif, Chaudhary Shujaat, Parvez Ilahi, Saifullah Family, Yousuf Raza Gilani Family, Gohar Ayub family, Laghari family, Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza and several others may be declared inilligible for contesting the next election, because they did not return bilions of bank loans or got written off their loans. Now election commission has said that these people would be inilligible for elections under article 63 of the constitution. Fahmida Mirza speaker national assembly is also among those who got loans written off. She got three loans worth Rs 170 million for her sugar mills. According to reports Banks wrote off loans of Rs 30 billion during 1985-2002. Similarly, auditor general had revealed that banks had written of loans of Rs 60 billin during Musharraf era from 2002-2007. Sharif family can be affected by this new condition they are defaulters of Rs 10 billion of National Bank. They had taken loans of Rs 5 billion while Rs 5 billion is now interest on the loan. The loan was taken for Etefaq Foundary. His cousin had gotton stay order from Lahore high court and the case has not been deciderd yet. Mainly, the loans asre of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial Bank.
