Federal Cabinet Expanded
It is the high time for PPP to oblige maximum number of its leaders. Those who were not the part of federal cabinet must be given the chance to enjoy the status of minister. Poor Babar Awan found no place in the newly inducted ministers in the cabinet. Now, the number of minsters in the cabinet reaches to 54, the biggest cabinet in the world. Those who are left can be made part of cabinet during the next 6 months.
The reshuffle and expansion in the Federal Cabinet took place Friday as President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to five federal and six ministers of state.
Qamar Zama Karia, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Farooq Saeed Khan, Farzana Raja and Nazar Mohammad Gondal have been appointed as federal ministers.
Malik Azmat, Raheela Baloch, Abbas Afridi, Samsam Bukhari, Tasneem Qureshi and Nawbzada Malik Amad have been appointed ministers of state.
Ten out of the eleven new ministers belong to the PPP while Abbas Afridi is a Senator from FATA.
With the induction of new ministers the Federal cabinet comprises of 34 federal ministers, 14 state ministers and six special advisors.
