Health Projects Of Welfare Organization of Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation

in 1998 the head of the Bill and Melinda Foundation was the father of Bill Gates senior. He called a meeting of organizations working on the health projects in the country. Bill was also present in the meeting. The objectives of the meeting were to develop the mechanism for birth control. Some of the reports of the organizations stunned Bill and he remained bust in studying the statistics given in the reports. He came to know that when the rate of deaths subsided in any society the rate of births decreased too and the population remained constant at a normal level. It meant that if the parents knew that their children will reach to physical age they would prefer to have less kids in number. This fact forced Bill to give U-turn to all of his welfare projects and instead of controlling the birth rate he started saving the lives of the children by spending billions of dollars.
Bill says that when this secret got opened to us then we decided to purchase vaccines. During 1998, if Bill wanted to get the help of medical doctors, he could but he observed this field to be too limited. After consultation, thinking and planning he decided to get "magic tool" the vaccines to save the lives of millions of children in the world. It was not the reason that vaccines cost less expenses whereas money was no problem for Bill, but the reason was that it could be provided in less time and energy too the needy people. So Bill and his wife Melinda who was participating in all the welfare projects decided to buy vaccines because it was the best use of their wealth. By this way millions of the human lives could be saved.
Bill Gates brought revolution in the health sector by concentrating on vaccines. He left behind the famous American philanthropist,John Rockefeller in bringing latest and modern changes, whose Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research played an important role in developing several new medicines. Bill's great deed is that he concentrated his attention on the vaccines when many pharmaceutical institutions were not ready to manufacture vaccines considering them dangerous.
First of all Bill handed over $ 100 million to United Nation for purchasing providing vaccines to the children of poor countries.The supervision of the project was given to an NGO "PATh" (Program for Appropriate Technology in Health" A function was arranged at Bill's house in Washington to bestow the supervising responsibilities to the NGO. Several medical doctors and scientists were also attending the party and Bill asked the scientists whether they could develop new vaccines if funds were provided. Having positive response from the scientists Bill allocated $21 billion out of his wealth in 1999 to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation , thus a largest welfare NGO of the world came into being due to sympathy for humanity in the heart of a kind person.
When vaccines sector was got attention several hidden problems also came to the front. The first of these was that vaccines for a very few diseases was available only. So Bill provided millions of dollars for manufacturing and developing new vaccines. So in this way the vaccines for meningitis, malaria and cholera were manufactured and for the distribution and saving the vaccines stores were built in the poor countries with the money always allocated by Bill Gates.
