The security operation that foiled the terror attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi was led by the SP Suhai Aziz Talpur-who joined the police force after passing her CSS in 2013. At least two police officials were martyred when terrorists attempted to enter the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi Clifton area. Talpur hails from lower middle class family of Bhai Khan Talpur village in Tando Muhammad Khan district. She said when her parents decided to entrol her at a school, most of their relatives started taunting her family. So much so that, her family had to leave their village and moved to a neaby town. She said her father AzizTalpur, a political activist and writer, always dreamt big of her daughter. Her bravery was also appreciated by Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh.
