Pregnant Women Are Giving Birth In Streets In Venezuela As There Are No Health Facilities Available Not Even Painkillers (Video)
A pregnant woman in Venezuela was sent from one hospital to another before finally giving birth to her daughter in the corridor of a maternity ward. There is a common practice of referring pregnant women from hospital to hospitaldue to lack of personnel, supplies or or sanitary conditions. A woman was filmed giving birth to her son squatting by a tree in front of the biggest hospital in Bolivar. Venezuela is in the midst of an economic meltdown triggered by mismanagement and a slump in oil prices followed by US sanctions.
The United Nations says some 2.3 million people have fled Venezuela since 2015 and amongst them have been many doctors.
According to a study by a dozen non-profits, some 22,000 doctors, more than half the former total, emigrated between 2012 and 2017.
Added to that, more than 6,000 nurses (74 percent of that industry´s workforce) and 6,600 lab technicians have left while there´s a shortage of 90 percent of necessary medicines and supplies.
Often, patients are turned away "because there are no surgical materials, no anesthesiologists. They don´t even have chlorine to clean the cubicles," said Silvia Bolivar, a nurse at Concepcion Palacios, the biggest maternity unit in the capital Caracas.
Pregnant women are sometimes expected to bring their own disinfectant and garbage bags.
Venezuela has been suffering from four years of recession in which poverty is on the rise as food has become short in supply.
A caesarean section kit costs the equivalent of $100 at the black market rate while the minimum wage is 1,800 bolivars ($6) a month.
Inflation, which the International Monetary Fund predicts will reach 1.35 million percent this year has crippled the currency as United States sanctions saw foreign investment dry up.
Preparations To Lay The Foundation Stone Of The Kartarpur Border Crossing Have Been Completed
Preparations to lay the foundation stone of the Kartarpur border crossing have been completed and Prime Minister Imran Khan will perform the groundbreaking of the corridor at a ceremony today (Wednesday).
Renowned cricketer and Minister of Indian Punjab Navjot Singh Sidhu and other guests from the neighboring country have already reached the country for the historic event.
The agreement between Pakistan and India to have a corridor, linking Gurdaspur’s Dera Baba Nanak to Kartarpur Sahib has been welcomed by the Sikh community that has long demanded they be able to walk to this major shrine directly from Dera Baba Nanak in India rather than through the Wagah border crossing.
The 16th century shrine in Narowal district was where the founder of the Sikh religion, Guru Nanak, breathed his last. The Gurudwara was built to commemorate the site where Guru Nanak, founder of Sikhism, settled after his missionary work. He assembled a Sikh community there, and lived for 18 years until his death in 1539.
Located four kilometres away on the banks of the River Ravi, the revered shrine is visible from the Indian side. Prime Minister, Imran Khan, took personal interest in meeting Sikhs’ demand after Navjot Sidhu attended his swearing-in ceremony in Islamabad. The facility would provide a visa-free access to the Sikh pilgrims to the shrine of Baba Guru Nanak in Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.
The friendship between Khan and Sidhu goes back to their cricketing days. Sindhu, now Tourism and Culture Minister of Indian Punjab has arrived in Lahore to participate in the ceremony. Other guests include the head of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, members of Indian Punjab assembly and senior journalists.
The guests have also brought with them holy water called ‘Amrat Jal’ from the Golden temple in Amritsar. As mark of respect, Indian parliament member Gurjeet Singh Aujla walked barefoot to Lahore, carrying ‘Amrat Jal’. Aujla said that he would use the water in the corridor’s groundbreaking.
The head of largest Sikh organisation Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Gobind Langowal has also come to Pakistan for the first time.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India Sohail Mahmood will also participate in the ceremony.
Union Minister Harsimrat will represent India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The government has formulated a comprehensive plan to facilitate the Sikh devotees who will come to Pakistan to visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.
The plan includes renovation of the gurdwara, issuance of visas to the pilgrims and the provision of security and accommodation.
The Indian government was in a quandary, displeased with this development but unwilling to alienate the Sikh sentiment. Finally it accepted the proposal; announcing it would construct the road on its side, and send two ministers to the groundbreaking ceremony by Imran Khan on Pakistan’s side.
The East Punjab government invited the speaker of the Punjab Assembly to its inauguration ceremony.
Analysts have described the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s move to open the Kartarpur opening as a bold and wise move.
The two countries will move on to hold talks on logistics, visa, and other details of the Kartarpur corridor, which is described as a change from the past five years of no talks despite Pakistan’s reiterated proposals. One hopes the Kartarpur opening is a step towards peace.

A Kiss That Saved Her Husband's Life (Video)
First kisses can be romantic and sweet. Sometimes, they can be
awkward and clearly the worst of first kisses. (Kisses grow better over
time anyhow.) But did a kiss ever save your life?
It’s not everyday that a kiss saves your life, but sometimes, it does. Last October, 56-year-old Max Montgomery took Dr. Andi Traynor out paddle boarding.
They were off of Santa Cruz beach when Montgomery suddenly felt burning in his chest and was exhausted. He got out of the water and almost immediately fell to the ground.
Lucky for him, Traynor was an anesthesiologist based out of Palo Alto, and she knew CPR. She performed CPR until the medics were able to arrive and take him to the hospital.
“I wasn’t thinking about anything
other than taking care of him,” Traynor said. Doctors confirmed that his
heart had stopped beating for 17 minutes before they were able to get a
defibrillator on him.
Because this situation was so serious, their first kiss lacked romance, but was caught on camera. Montgomery is thankful for this
According to Alexander Baker, the one who recorded said first kiss, “His first kiss was, they call it, the kiss of life.”
Montogomery underwent coronary bypass surgery the very next day and said to Traynor that he understood if she didn’t want to keep seeing him. “But she told me she was not going anywhere,” he recalled.
The two are still going strong and have decided to start a nonrofit together. They call it Paddle4Good, which helps create adventurous activities for people with physical or developmental needs.
And to end the story on a sweet not, the couple got a redo on their first kiss. “A few weeks after his surgery he was recuperating and we were on the beach just talking. I said, ‘You can kiss me for real now.’” And so he did.

Maulana Nazarul Rahman led the funeral prayer of late Ameer Tableeghi Jamaat, Haji Abdul Wahab, who passed away at the age of 95, after a prolonged battle with dengue. Haji Abdab's (Rahmat ullah Alahe) funeral prayer was attended by devotees, ulama e karam, members of TJ council and people belonging to all walks of life. Haji Abdul Wahab had been admitted to Doctor's Hospital for the past few days after being afflicted with dengue. He also suffered asthma and was put on life support. Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed grief and sorrow over Haji Abdul Wahab's demise. He offered his condolences to the bereaved family and said Haji Wahab's services as a religious scholar and preacher will always be remembered. Leading political leaders of all the parties offered their condolences to the grieved family and acknowledged amir's contribution towards the preaching and spreading of Islam's message. They recalled that the TJ leader devoted his whole life for preaching of Islam's message of peace and had proved through his conduct that sentiments of peace and love can bring lasting changes in the mindset and character of a person. Haji Abdul Wahab was born in the subarban area of Dehi, India, in January 1923. He graduated from Islamia College, Lahore, and joined the civil service as a Tehsildar in pre-partition, India. He also remained affiliated with Majlis e Ahrar e Islam in his youth. After being inspired by the oration of Maulana Ilyas Kandhalvi. the founder of Tableeghi Jamaat.Haji Abdul Wahab went on to become an Islamic preacher after joining the jamaat in 1944 and decided to spend his whole life in religious preaching and remained with Maulana Ilyas till his death. He migrated to Pakistan after 1947 along with a few other companions and founded Madrassa Arabia near Raiwind railway junction. He also left his job later to ensure his active participation in the Tableeghi Jamaat. Haji Abdul Wahab was stated to be a direct companion of Maulana Ilyas and one of the five people who rendered their entire life for Tableeghi Jamaat following creation of Pakistan. Haji Wahab succeeded Haji Muhammad Bashir as the Ameer of Tableeghi Jaamat. in 1992. He remained the head of Shura (Council) as well as a member of the movement's Aalmi Shura (World Council) based in Delhi, India. Due to a large number if the people attending funeral prayer, PIA had to arrange special flight from Karachi to Lahore. The first gathering of Tableeghi Jamaat under the leadership of its founder Maulana Ilyas Sahib was held in India in 1941 in which 25,000 people participated. Till partition the preaching work remained limited to India but when Pakistan came into being the Tableeghi work progressed by leaps and bounds and it spread in the whole world. The preaching work is being done in nearly 200 countr. According to some estimates 80 to 100 million people are involved in the preaching of Islam in the world. The largest congregation of Jamaat is held in Bangladesh every year, while Annual Ijtema is also held at Raiwind Theevery year, in which million of people participate. This is the Jamaat which never involves in politics and keeps away from it and works purely for preaching Islam, due to their sincere work million of people in the world have converted to Islam. The preaching work is based on six principals--- including Kalma (which is the base of Islam to acknowledge the Oneness of Allah and admitting no one is equal to him- NO shareek and to acknowlege Muhammad (PBUH) is his prophet, second principal is prayer, Dikar of Allah and knowledge, Ikram e Muslim, Respect of Muslims, sincerity of intention and preaching and invitation to Islam. The basic purpose of the tehreek Tableegh is that all the Muslims of the world should pass their lives hundred percent according to the orders of Allah and following the Sunna of Great Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Ahmad e Mujtaba (PBUH). Tableeghi Jammaat has fixed a course to make the common person understand the work of Tableegh, According to this course and the newcomer familair with Tableegh one has to spend three days initially with the Jamaat and similarly 40 days, 4 months and for one year people work in the foreign countries or within the countries for preaching. Though Tableeghi Jamaat is of Sunni faith but people from other faith amd maslak are also in the Jamaat. Tableeghi Jamaat is the only group that has people from all walks of life like high ranking officers from forces, doctors, professors of educational instituitions, beuracrates. and young people of the universities. Many atists, former singers and several crickets stars arealso in the jamaat. Saeed Anwar, Muhammad Yousuf and Inzama mul Haq are regularly working in Tableeghi Jamaat. This is the only Jamaat that demands nothing from the people but begs for some time to be spent in Tableegh. It is free of politics and sectarian issues. This is the only Jammat that I consider is on right path among the 72 groups to be created near the day of judgement May Allah Bless his Full Blessings on these Rightful persons Ameen

First Dalit Female MP Of Pakistan Included In The List Of BBC's 100 Most Influential Women Of The World (Videos)
Krishna Kumari Kohli, Pakistan's first female senator from Dalit caste, made BBC's list of 100 inspiring and influential women around the world in 2018. Back in March, opposition candidate Kohli's surprise victory stirred a wave of optimism on social media, as Pakistanis celebrated the rare win for a woman from low caste community that lied at the bottom of the Hindu caste heirarchy. " I feel proud, I am thankful to Pakistan Peoples Party that they nominated me" Kohli told AFP. Pakistan's Hindus, who make up around two percent of the country's 200 million people, have long faced economic and social discrimination. Kohli was elected to the Pakistan senate after compaigning for women's rights, having previously been forced into bonded labour for three years. The list includes women like Chelsea Clinton, daughter of 2017 US presidential election candidate Hilary Clinton for her work with the Clinton foundation to Syrian student Nujeen Mustafa who fled the Syrian war in her wheelchair and compaigns for refugees with disabilities.

Main International Hotels In China Are Being Inspected Due To Objectionable Way Of Cleaning Of Utensils (Videos)
Chinese authorities are inspecting several major hotels after hidden cameras showed rooms cleaning workers using soiled towels to clean cups and glasses and other objectionable practices. The Chinese tourism ministry said it had asked authorities in Beijing, Shanghai and three provinces to investigate 14 hotels that appear in the video. Several hotels including a Sheraton and Waldorf Astoria have apologized. The nearly 12-minute video, posted online earlier this week, shows workers cleaning bathrooms. I several clips, they can be seen wiping down sinks, coffee cups and glasses with the same used towel. One wipes a glass with her bottom edge of her cleaning uniform. An activist blogger who uses the pseudonym "Huazong" posted the video late Wednesday on his verified account on Weibo, a Chinese version of Twitter. He calls the problem long standing and widespread, and writes that he spent 2,000 nights at 147 hotels over years. The video has been viewed more than 30 million times. State broadcaster CCTV aired video of uniformed inspectors at an unidentified hotel flashing their ID cards and holding a drinking glass up to the light to inspect it. The Peninsula hotel in Beijing said Friday that city food and drug administration officials had conducted an on-site examination of cups the previous day and found them cleaner than standards required. The cups were sent for further tests, the hotel said in a statement on its Weibo account. "The hotel will still take measures to strengthen the implementation of the standard procedures for room service staff to ensure all aspects meet the established standards of the Peninsula," the statement said. The Shangri-La Hotel in Fuzhou said the actions in the video violate its hygiene standards, while the Park Hyatt in Beijing called it an isolated occurrence.
Enraged Man Ignited His Luggage At Islamabad Airport When His Flight To Gilgat Was Grounded
Pakistanis are the most impatient nation in the world. Most of the flights to Gilgat are cancelled, delayed or posponed due to the bad weather of the valley. It is too dangerous and risky to put the lives of dozens of passengers in risk if flying to Gilgat. Plane has to pass through very narrow passage between high mouuntains. if weather is not clear then there are hundred percent chances of crash and this has happened several times when weather suddenly changed its pattern as against forecast. If boarding pass is issued to the passengers then accomodation is provided by the air company till the plane takes off. For one passenger other passengers can not be put to risk. The man who set fire to his luggage and belongings seems being not in senses. The man was filmed igniting his clothes in the middle of the lounge at Islamabad Airport before being confronted by security.

Travel To Hijaz e Muqaddas For Umra From Oct 22 to Nov 11, 2018
This is special Mercy and Karam of Al Mighty Allah who bestowed upon me the third chance to visit His sacred home (Khana Kaa'ba) and the Roza Mubarak Of our Great Prophet, The Khatemun Nabeeyeen Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Ahmad e Mujtaba (PBUH) and to offer prayers in Masjid e Nabvi. First Umra was performed during 1980 when the blogger was on the way to Pakistan from Mexico completing official training via the USA and England. Second time performed Hajj during 2011 along with wife and now thirdly with whole family including four and a half year-old grand daughter Noorul Huda Saqib and two and a half -year old grandson Muhammad Ahmad Hayat. Al-Harmain. Travel and Tourism Agency, situated in Pothohar Plaza, Blue Area, Islamabad, with Muhammad Jamraiz Abbasi, Managing Partner arranged our Umra journey, including visa. transport, hotels and all other traveling documents. The agency with whom I had performed Hajj in 2011. Though, Al-Harmain arranged everything necessary for Hajj, but actually our transport, meals and ziarat were handled by Al-Habib who are partner and have joint venture during Hajj. The Hajj travel and this time Umra journey was arranged excellently. I appreciate the efforts of Jamraizr Abbasi. who is running the agency in the best way. Of course , all the arrangements done by the Al-Harmaim were the best. I would rank this agency to the tune of hundred percent. I will suggest Umra and intending Hajis to avail the services of Al-Harmain that will never disappoint you. However, there was one drawback during this journey, that the hotel booked for our family for Medina Munawwara 10-day stay was originally Safa Almas-1, but there the bus dropped us on Hotel Darat Elyas, down airport road, and the man standing there said it was the hotel and still its board has not been changed. The worst condition of the room revealed as we were put in prison. The card board door of narrow bath room had holes and it could not be locked. Room was narrow too, one could hardly moved around. Though guests were accomodated on three floors that had one lift which had capacity of four persons only, this remained out of order 10 hours a day. The worst situation we had to face was the stoppage of water due to fault in pumping machine. All the guests were without water in the bath rooms and it was not available even for washing hands, face or for ablution. Eventually, police was called who controlled the situation and ordered the hotel administration to make water available within 2 hours, however, still it took 12 hours and we remained without water for at least 24 hours. The future Umra or Hajj Zaireen are advised be careful of this troublesome hotel in Madina. However, Jood Al- Taj hotel on Ibrahim Khalil Road in Makka Mukarrama was better, had fast 5 lifts that did nor create any trouble. On returned I called Jamraiz Abbasi of Al Harmain and complained about the hotel, he apologised and said I could call him from Saudi Arabia, he would have changed the hotel, but one has no time to make long distance calls whereas, WiFi was available onle in lobby and with 2 meter radius. However, as a whole AlHarmain made nice and our Umra journey comfortable. I thank the administration of Al Harmain and specially Muhammad Jamraiz Abbasi for cooperation,
