Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Romania has proposed the name of 52= year old Seol Shahida for prime ministership. However, her name has to be endorsed by president by Klavis Youhanse and will have to get vote of confidence from the parliament as well. She has served as regional development minister during the regime of leftist party. PDS has acquired 250 seats in the parliament consisting of 465 seats having simple majority. It gained the seats with the cooperation of one of the allied parties during the election held on Dec 11 in Romania. If Shahida got the favor of te president and the parliament, she would be the first Muslim prime minister of Romania.
