With the massive data outbreak by Panama Leaks, several high profile names like celebrities and political figures have been disclosed. Another celebrities actor Harry Potter and Emma Watson have been listed for holding off shore companies. Watson's spokesperson clarified and admitted that the 26 years old actress holds an off shore company but she does not receive any tax or money advantage out of the company. The purpose for setting up this company is to retain her privacy. UK companies are required to publicly publish the details of their shareholders and therefore do not give her necessary anonymity required to protect her personal safety, which has been jeopardized in the past due to such information publicly available. Off shore companies do not publish these shareholder details. Watson does not receive ant tax benefit but privacy.
