India's jet Airways has grounded for allowing a Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam to perform over in-flight announcement system, the decision prompted a social media backlash. The video showed singer's impromptu performance that went viral. All the cabin crew on the flight have been taken off from the duty for enquiry and corrective training to reinforce strict adherence to the operating procedures. The video showed the celebrity singer crooning to chart-topping Bollywood songs with other passengers joining in on a chartered flight from western city Judhpur to Mambai. Songs by Sonu Nigam, one of the highest paid Indian singer have mainly featured in Hindi, Odia, Kannada, Punjabi and Marathi movies.
