Marriage Fourteen year old groom and ten year old bride in Iran got viral on social media. The reason is obvious the age of the couple that amazed the world. In Iran according to the law 2002, the legal age of boy is 15 year while that of girl is 13 years for marriage. However, the Iranian law makers have allowed for the marriage of legally underage couple due to some acceptible ground and with the permission of 'Wali' (guardian) and must be brought to the notice of the court. However, experts say the marriage in childhood creates psychological problems for the girls with the passage of the time as they have not spent their lives in a natural way.
