Saudi Arabia Did Not Allow Iranian Pilgrims To Enter The Country
Saudi Arabia and Iran are facing hostile situation due to Yemen crisis. Following that issue Saudi authorities stopped Iranian aircraft from entering the country in which pilgrims were travelling to Mekka. Civil aviation authority claimed that Iranian plane was stopped to enter the Saudi airspace just because it did not get permission. The plane was carrying 260 Irani Muslims for pilgrimage to Mekka. Country of Sunni-majority Saudi Arabia and Shiite-majority country Iran have hostile relations between the states. These hostilities went worse got worsened when two weeks ago Saudi Arabia launched series of air strikes against Iran backed Houthi rebels. A spokesperson of Saudi civil aviation authority said aircraft of any air line has to get regular permission from the host country before starting the journey, but Iranian air craft get not get so."
