Dwayne Johnson's Daughter All Set To Become WWE Superstar

It appears that Dwayne Johnson’s daughter, Simone Johnson will be following her father’s footsteps. According to WWE Now, Simone has begun her training at the WWE Performance Center to become a professional wrestler. On her official Instagram account, Simone shared a photo of herself donning a Performance Center t-shirt accompanied by a heartfelt caption around her love for professional wrestling. “To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said ‘this will be my life one day’, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work,” she said. In an interview with EW, WWE head coach Matt Bloom shared some positive remarks around Simone. “Simone knows she has a lot to learn. She’s hungry to learn and picks the coaches’ minds, and the veteran Superstars’, as well. She’s not going to rest on her laurels. It’s been a short time, but she’s been crushing it,” he said. This would make Simone a fourth generation professional wrestler. Her father Dwayne, performed as The Rock on a full time basis from 1996 till 2003, after which he attained a part time status to focus more on his acting career. Dwayne’s father, the late Rocky Johnson was also a WWE superstar. He is credited as being the first African American to win a championship in the WWE. Then Dwyane’s maternal grandfather Peter Malvia was also a decorated professional wrestler.
