Dr Shahid Masood is a physician professionall having degree from Jinnah Sind Medical University and also has fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons England. His mother was related to teaching profession and his father was a civil engineer who served in Saidi Arab for 16 years. Dr Shahid Masood childhood passed in Taif and riyath. He joined media in 2001 when private channels were newly started. At that time limited number of private channels existed. He was appointed as senior executive director of achannel. He also claimedto have degree in international relations and defence studies. He began his program on the channel entitled views on niews. In 2007 he joined another private channels as group executive and started program 'meray mutabiq'. Then Dr Shahid rose to fame. In 2008 he was appointed chairman and managing director of government channels but resigned due to some serious matters. Then he was appointed as special advisor to then PM whose status was equal to minister. According to a report he earned more than eight lakh rupees from PTV in addition to other previleges. In 2014 he joined present private channel as guesr analyst and started program 'live with Dr Shahid Masood' in this program he broke the present controversial news that was noticed by supreme court and is under discussion now a days.
