Private TV Channel ARY Failed To Prove Its Allegations Against Geo's Owner Mir Shakeel ur Rahman In Britain's Court
Six channels of ARY Network have been banned in Britain after the network failed to substantiate its allegations against Geo's owner Mir Shakeel ur Rahman. The ARY has also been rdered to pay fine of Rs 400 million. The ARY accepted before a British court that it had no evidence to prove its allegations. The Geo group won all the 24 cases against ARY which accepted that all the accusations were false and could not be defended. According to British court decision ARY will have to py in total 3m pounds or Rs 400 million to Geo owner, including legal expenses.
