Google Maps Latest Updates Made Journey Easier
Google home was not much of a help when making the journey home from a party or work. However, it was recently announced that with the assistance of different modes, the navigation app can now give transit directions.
The “Mixed modes” option will soon be added on the transit tab which will include ride-sharing and cycling options within the public transit directions to make the commute easier for the user.
Rather than navigating a trip on your own, the app gives you a different option to use.
The app also provides detail information about ride-sharing, cost of using Uber or Lyft, different types of rides, the cost and the time it will take you to make a journey from one location to another.
Furthermore, the app allows users to access information about the train or bus and expected traffic. Despite the navigation apps ease of use, in order to book yourself an Uber or Lyft you’ll have to use their respective apps.
The navigation app helps cyclist and bike-riders find friendly routes to reach the train station.
The multi-modal planning tool will soon be added to the Google Maps app on Android devices and iOS phones and other devices in the coming weeks, after which Google plans to release the updated version of the app in 30 countries to start with.
Currently, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Indonesia, India, Japan, Mexico, Tanzania, and the US are some of the countries that will have access to the ride-sharing option on Google maps.

Bollywood actress and Congress politician Urmila Matondkar lashed out at the Indian government against the Crackdown in occupied Kashmir.
Bollywood actress and Congress politician Urmila Matondkar lashed out at the Indian government against the ongoing security crackdown in occupied Kashmir.
Urmila said that due to the communications lockdown, her husband was unable to contact his parents for the last 22 days, according to an India Today report.
The actress’ in-laws live in the occupied valley and going through terrible conditions after the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked the valley’s special status.
Urmila said that her in-laws are diabetic and high-blood pressure patients.
"My father-in-law and mother-in-law stay there. Both are diabetic, have high blood pressure. Today is the 22nd day, neither me nor my husband have been able to speak to them. We have no clue if they have medicines available at home," said the actress.
She further said that the abrogation of Article 370 was done in an ‘inhuman manner’.
The valley is under strict lockdown since August 5 when the Narendra Modi-led government in New Delhi stripped occupied Kashmir of special status by repealing Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
The occupation authorities have converted Kashmir valley into a military garrison by deploying hundreds of thousands of Indian troops and paramilitary personnel in every street, line and by-lane to stop people from staging demonstrations against the abrogation of the special status of the territory.

PTI Will Take Disciplinary Action Against Aamir Liaqat
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Dr Aamir Liaquat is set to face disciplinary action by the ruling party over his negative comments against the prime minister’s special assistant, Firdous Ashiq Awan, and federal minister Ali Zaidi.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of Liaquat’s actions and has directed his special assistant and senior PTI member, Naeemul Haque, to conduct an inquiry.
The development comes after Liaquat lashed out at Firdous and Zaidi during television interviews and also on microblogging site, Twitter.
Liaquat, who was elected from NA-245 (Karachi East-IV), criticised Awan in a series of posts on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
The MNA said he was happy about unfollowing Firdous on Twitter and criticised the de-facto information minister for “nonsense” statements which he claimed contravened PM Imran’s directives.
Listing specific incidents, Liaquat also accused her of turning a blind eye to irregularities in the affairs of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV).
The Karachi-based MNA’s issue with Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi was related to the latter’s recent cleanliness drive in the port city.
In a television interview, Liaquat said Zaidi and other party members did not consult with him before launching a campaign in Karachi.
The former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member said he was willing to play his part in the uplift of Karachi but was being ignored by the PTI leadership.
Liaquat said no senior party member, including PM Imran, had reached out to him even after he aired his grievances.
This is not the MNA’s first controversy with fellow PTI members.
In August last year, Liaquat left a PTI WhatsApp group, made for communication between the party’s lawmakers, after being snubbed from a meeting held at the Governor House in Karachi.
A month later, he was barred from meeting Imran Khan during the premier’s one-day visit to Karachi.

Twitter Rejected Complaint Against President Alvi's Account
Microblogging giant Twitter rejected a complaint it received against President Dr Arif Alvi’s account, where the Pakistani head of state has been vocal against India’s ongoing atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari shared a screenshot of an email received by President Alvi from Twitter, in which the company said it had received a complaint against his account regarding a tweet highlighting India’s violations in occupied Kashmir.
Twitter, however, “could not identify any violations of its rules or applicable law,” the company said, adding that it did not take any action accordingly.
“Twitter has really gone too far in becoming mouthpiece of the Rogue Modi govt! They sent a notice to our President! In bad taste and simply ridiculous,” Mazari captioned the screenshot.
On August 5, Modi's Hindu-nationalist government revoked the autonomy of the Muslim-majority territory where tens of thousands of people have been martyred in an uprising against Indian occupation since 1989.
New Delhi sent reinforcements to the estimated half a million troops already stationed in occupied Kashmir, cut phone lines and the internet, placed severe restrictions on movement and arrested thousands, according to multiple sources.
India says no civilian has died from police action since August 5.
But residents have said at least three people have been martyred, including a young mother who choked after police fired tear-gas canisters into her home.
Multiple hospital sources have told AFP at least 100 people had been hurt during the lockdown, some with firearm injuries.

Talor Swift's Seventh Album Has Arrived
Taylor Swift's highly anticipated seventh album has arrived in all its lovestruck, honeyed glory -- a clear shift from the vengeful goth lite of her previous record.
But the 18-track "Lover" is not just an ode to matters of the heart -- it's the pop star's first studio album that she actually owns, under the terms of the multi-album deal she struck last year with Universal Music Group/Republic Records.
"This album is very much a celebration of love, in all its complexity, coziness, and chaos," Swift tweeted upon Friday's midnight release of her latest project.
"It's the first album of mine that I've ever owned, and I couldn't be more proud."
"Lover" sees Swift, no stranger to catty celebrity feuds and lyrical disses, set a mood of moving on -- with a touch of snarky self-care -- in her opener, "I Forgot That You Existed."
It's a break from 2017's "Reputation," when Swift momentarily tossed her princess tiara to try on the hardened snakeskin of Dark Taylor.
In classic Swift form, the new album includes a streak of reflection on her past romantic woes but maintains an ebullient optimism, particularly concerning her current relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, with several songs hinting at marriage.
"Swear to be overdramatic and true," she sings with a self-aware wink in the album's title track.
In "Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince," she appears to take a stab at political content -- Swift has faced scorn in the past for shying away from social issues -- voicing disillusionment in the American mythos.
"American story burning before me / I'm feeling helpless / The damsels are depressed / Boys will be boys then / Where are the wise men?" she sings.
And in "The Man," she contemplates the double standards faced by women, both in work and in romance.
"I'd be a fearless leader / I'd be an alpha type / When everyone believes you / What's that like?" Swift asks.
In that track, she name-checks Leonardo DiCaprio, known for his revolving door of 20-something girlfriends, implying that her own past serial dating habits would be less maligned if she were a man: "And they would toast to me or let the players play / I'd be just like Leo in Saint Tropez."
Trumpian 'autocracy'
The besotted earnestness returns on "London Boy" -- which features a cameo from Idris Elba -- an ode to all things English like high tea, watching rugby at the pub and her beau's accent.
Her newfound romance with Britain is perhaps why the superstar chose The Guardian to discuss her disenchantment with the current state of the United States, telling the paper Donald Trump is treating his White House tenure like an "autocracy."
The superstar faced criticism in 2016 when she opted against using her enormous platform to endorse a candidate in the pivotal presidential vote that resulted in Trump's election.
She told the British paper, which will publish the full interview Saturday, that she feels "remorseful" for not speaking up, saying in hindsight that she would have backed Hillary Clinton.
Swift said at the time that her row with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, along with her mother's cancer diagnosis, had her hiding from the public eye.
"I just knew what I could handle and I knew what I couldn't. I was literally about to break," she said.
Swift vowed to "do everything I can for 2020," pointing in particular to ongoing battles that could result in more limited access to abortion services.
Owning it
"Lover" marks a new era for Swift in that she holds the keys to its future distribution.
Earlier this year, the star began publicly feuding with industry mogul Scooter Braun over his purchase of her former label, the Nashville-based Big Machine, which gave him a majority stake in the master recordings of her first six albums.
The owner of coveted masters -- one-of-a-kind source material used to create vinyls, CDs and digital copies -- is able to dictate how songs are reproduced and sold.
Always determined to have the last word, in the media blitz promoting "Lover," Swift said she would begin re-recording her early albums to create copies she owns herself.
She told ABC's "Good Morning America" that her contract allows her to begin redoing albums one through five in November 2020, and she plans to be back in the studio doing just that.
"I think that artists deserve to own their work," she said. "I just feel very passionately about that."

SC's Verdict On Judge Arsgad Malik Video Case
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday issued its detailed 25-page verdict on petitions in the video case of judge Arshad Malik.
The verdict stated that it was not an appropriate stage for the Supreme Court to interfere in the matter of the relevant video and its effects, particularly when the video may have relevance to a criminal appeal presently sub judice before the Islamabad High Court.
It added that a criminal investigation was already being conducted into the matter by the Federal Investigation Agency, some other offences or illegalities under some other laws referred to by Attorney General might also entail inquiries or investigations by the competent agencies or fora and any probe into the matter by a Commission to be constituted by the Government or by this Court may end up only with an opinion which may have no relevance or admissibility in the relevant appeal pending before the Islamabad High Court.
According to the verdict, the relevant video could not be of any legal benefit to Nawaz Sharif unless it was properly produced before the Islamabad High Court in the pending appeal, its genuineness was established and then the same was proven in accordance with the law for it to be treated as evidence in the case.
The verdict authored by Chief Justice of Pakistan stated that five issues needed to be attended to by the apex court.
1) Which is the Court of forum that can presently attend to the relevant video for any meaningful consideration in the case of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif?
2) How is the relevant video to be established as a genuine piece of evidence?
3) How is the relevant video, if established to be a genuine piece of evidence, to be proved before a court of law?
4) What is the effect of the relevant video, if established to be a genuine piece of evidence and if duly proved before the relevant court, upon the conviction of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif?
5) The conduct of the learned Judge namely Mr Muhammad Arshad Malik in the episode.
The case was heard by a three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
The detailed judgement can be viewed here.
Last month, the Supreme Court took up the case on a petition submitted by a citizen named Ishtiaq Ahmed, who appealed to the apex court for an independent judicial inquiry of the video scandal.
On July 12, judge Malik was relieved from his duties by the federal government for his alleged involvement in the controversial video scandal.
During the hearing on August 20, CJP Khosa had inquired whether a petition had been filed in court to obtain any legal benefit, to which the attorney general said no petition had been filed.
Rs100mn was offered to me as bribe, claims judge Arshad Malik in affidavit
The chief justice remarked that the video would be of use for the release of Nawaz Sharif when a petition is filed. He added that it remained to be seen if a forensic audit could be carried out on a copy of the video and if this was possible for a YouTube video.
IHC orders disciplinary action against Judge Malik
On Thursday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered disciplinary proceedings against judge Malik for violating the code of conduct.
The court order against Accountability Court II Judge Malik stated, “The disclosures and admissions made by Mr Muhammad Arshad Malik, District & Sessions Judge/Former Judge, Accountability Court-II, Islamabad in his press release dated 07.07.2019 and the affidavit dated 11.07.2019, prima facie, constitute acts of misconduct and violation of the code of conduct, which warrant initiation of disciplinary proceedings against him.
“Therefore, the Hon’able Chief Justice of this Court has been pleased to order to place the said Judicial Officer under suspension and repatriate to his parent department i.e. Lahore High Court, Lahore, with immediate effect, for disciplinary proceedings to be conducted in accordance with law.”
Video controversy
Judge Malik, after becoming embroiled in the so-called judge video scandal, had penned a letter to the IHC in July wherein he had refuted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s claims and revealed other information related to the controversy.
In an affidavit submitted to the court, Malik had denied the contents of the video — which purportedly showed him admitting to a lack of evidence against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif — and termed them edited, fabricated, and aimed to defame him.
Maryam alleged that the judge had contacted Nasir Butt, a PML-N worker and told him that he was feeling guilty and having nightmares ever since he announced the verdict that led to Nawaz Sharif's imprisonment. The judge was "blackmailed" into handing down the sentence against Nawaz Sharif after some people threatened that they would release a private video of his, she alleged.
She claimed the judge was under immense pressure to send the former prime minister to jail, and that he had contemplated committing suicide several times since. She said the judge did not write the verdict but "was made to write" the prison sentence for Nawaz Sharif.
Responding to the allegations, the accountability court judge has called the video presented by the PML-N as fake and fallacious. He has demanded legal action against those involved in producing the videotape.

Indian Rapper Hard Kaur Has Exposed India In Her Latest Video(Video)
Indian rapper Hard Kaur has ‘exposed India’ in her latest video.
The singer’s Twitter account was previously suspended after she posted a video in which she is seen using abusive words for Indian PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The singer, along with Khalistan (a separate region for Sikhs in India) supporters, appeared in the two minute clip and also spoke in favour of the Khalistan movement.
She challenged PM Modi and Amit Shah in the video, siding with the Khalistan supporters. Kaur reportedly used expletives while addressing Modi and Shah in the clip that has gone viral on social media. Since then, Kaur was one of the top trends on Twitter in India.
Kaur, alias Taran Kaur Dhillon, on Monday made yet another video full of swear words and explicit language. In the video she can be seen saying that the supporters of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak, (RSS) had been been using extremely abusive language towards her.
She said that by abusing her, threatening her with rape; these people are only revealing the filth in their heads. “You are filthy people, extremely filthy and you wish I should side with you?” she said.
She also called out people who threatened her for maligning the image of ‘good Indians.’
“I’m not someone who has committed treason since I’m self made. You all dance on my songs, I’m self-made, I’ve earned this,” she responded to people who called her anti-national.
“You all should be thankful to me as I introduced a progressive image of India in the world through my music. I am the first female hip-hop artist from India,” she said, adding, “Indian misogynistic men cannot tolerate me because I am more talented, successful, famous and rich than most of them”.
She said that the Indian government should understand that she cannot be scared through death and rape threats because “nobody can stop me from speaking my mind out”.
“How dare the Indian government stop the 2020 referendum and call Sikh liberation group a terrorist organisation when the whole parliament at this time is full of RSS terrorists,” she said.
“So guess what, I am going to Pakistan to attend the 550th anniversary of Kartarpur Sahib and I will campaign for 2020 referendum and Khalistan,” she concluded.
Several Sikh groups have demanded for a separate country called Khalistan in Punjab as a homeland for Sikhs.
Kaur is best known for her songs Move your Body (Johnny Gaddar), Lucky Boy (Bachna Ae Haseeno) and others. She also acted in the 2011 Bollywood film Patiala House, alongside Akshay Kumar.

Modi Backstabbed Imran Khan
Days before the Indian government decided to revoke the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Islamabad and New Delhi were in an advanced stage of backchannel talks to arrange a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New York next month.
The discreet diplomacy was not only meant to arrange an Imran-Modi meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly’s annual session but also aimed at laying the groundwork for resumption of the long-suspended dialogue between the two countries.
Both Pakistani and Indian sources confirmed that the two countries initiated backchannel talks after Modi returned to power with a landslide victory in the general elections in May.
The decision to work quietly for the resumption of dialogue was made to avoid media attention that often complicated the process.
Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria, who was recently expelled from Islamabad after Pakistan downgraded diplomatic ties with India over its Kashmir move, was leading the Indian side while Foreign Secretary Sohail Mehmood, who not long ago was serving as the Pakistani high commissioner in New Delhi, was Pakistan’s point person.
Diplomatic sources revealed that the quiet diplomacy had enabled Imran and Modi to exchange letters soon after the Indian elections.
“Everything was carefully choreographed… from PM Imran’s congratulatory tweet to the telephonic conversation with Modi,” an official said.
In fact, when both Imran and Modi were attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in June in Bishkek, the two countries had already agreed to a meeting between the two premiers on the sidelines.
However, to avoid creating hype, the two countries decided to portray the meeting as unplanned and informal.
Both sides did confirm that Imran and Modi shook hands and exchanged “pleasantries”.
But the two countries played down the development as an informal interaction.
However, The Express Tribune can now confirm that the meeting was more than a mere handshake.
One diplomatic source revealed that when Imran entered the hall where other SCO leaders were present, Modi stood up for the Pakistani prime minister and they had a “very constructive discussion”.
All those efforts were meant to create a favourable environment for meaningful engagement between the two countries.
The sources said both sides had agreed that no dramatic announcements would be made to keep public expectations under check.
Pakistan had even agreed to address some of India’s concerns that would have enabled the Modi government to re-engage with Islamabad.
However, Pakistan was not expecting India’s sudden move to abrogate Article 370 that gave a semi-autonomous status to Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan seems to have been caught by surprise given the two countries were so close to arranging a meeting between Imran and Modi that might have led to the resumption of talks.
Apparently, Islamabad had not anticipated the Modi government’s Kashmir move.
After India revoked the disputed territory’s special status on August 5, Pakistan has mounted a diplomatic offensive against New Delhi.
PM Imran, who until recently believed that Modi could be the best bet for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute, has now drawn parallels between the Indian prime minister and Adolf Hitler.
The personal attack launched by Imran against Modi reflects the former’s disappointment as he was genuinely looking forward to rapprochement with New Delhi, according to observers.

Girl In India Beaten By Sticks Over Love Marriage (Video)
A video went viral on Saturday in which an Indian girl is being beaten up by a village elder in the presence of several others in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantpur district.
According to NDTV, the girl, who is believed to be a minor, had secretly running off to marry her 20-year-old cousin.
The couple was brought presented before the village elders and cautioned against having a relationship.
In the video, the 20-year-old is seated on the ground, with downcast eyes, and the so called village elder is questioning the frail girl before him.
An answer she gives upsets him and he starts assaulting her, multiple times, repeatedly, first with his bare hands and subsequently with a stick.
Anantpur district police chief B Yesubabu said that no one was coming forward to lodge a complaint against the village elder, not even the parents. “They say the elder intervened on their behalf and so they are not willing to complain.”
The police has now sent a woman constable to check if the girl will file a complaint. If she mentions that she had a physical relationship with the boy, he could be booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences or POCSO.
If no formal complaint is lodged, the police will file a case under Prevention of SC/ST atrocities Act, police said.
Indian child rights activist Achyutha Rao of Balala Hakkula Sangham says he is alerting the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and has demanded that a case of attempt to murder and cruelty against children of JJ Act should be booked.

Couple Arrested For Abusing 45 Girls In Rawalpindi
City Police Officer (CPO) Mohammad Faisal Rana said that the action was taken soon after a complaint was lodged on August 3 by a victim, an MSc student of Allama Iqbal Open University.
The accused couple, identified as Qasim Jahangir and Kiran Mehmood, confessed to the sexual assault of 45 girls, taking their photographs and making videos of at least 10 victims.
According to the complaint, the student, who is also married, was abducted from outside Gordon College by a woman who pretended to be a fellow student. She said that her ‘brother’ was coming to pick her in a while. After a few minutes, a man arrived in a grey car and the woman pushed the victim inside the vehicle and threatened her with a knife to silence her.
The student was taken to a house in Gulistan Colony where Qasim, the husband, allegedly raped her while Kiran, the wife, took pictures and recorded video of the crime. They threatened and blackmailed the victim by showing her sexually explicit video. She was dropped on Tipu Road later at night.
According to the complaint, the accused admitted to have kidnapped several girls of ages 8-12 with the help of his wife and subjected them to similar heinous crime.
Police also recovered photographs and video clips from the accused house.
The police official said that the couple had sold the videos and photos to an international porn website.
“The wife has been sent to Adiala jail on judicial remand by the court while the husband is in police custody on physical remand,” CPO Rana added.
He also directed police officials to identify the accused in the videos and pictures, and lodge a separate case for each incident.
Police have also recovered evidence from the crime scene and sent them for forensic examination.
Gigi Hadid Robbed Robbed In Greece
American-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid has faced backlash over her recent comments during her trip to Mykonos, Greece. People are not happy about her ‘generalisations’ on the country based on her unfortunate experience of getting robbed.
She wrote originally on her second Gi’sposables Instagram, “Mykonos film in. PS(A). Don’t let insta fool u. Got robbed. Never going back lol. Wouldn’t recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.”
The statement upset many Greeks on the social media platform, who accused Gigi of of ‘defaming’ Greece. However after the photo was flooded with comments and circulated Instagram, the model doubled down on her statement by adding a series of additional thoughts.
She wrote, “Let me make this clear for everyone below who thinks I don’t deserve to have an opinion on my experience and warn people of this – I was robbed along with more than 30 houses at night, some to gunpoint. It was not possible to contact any form of law enforcement except through my local security who happened to have a contact. That is a privilege that most people travelling there wouldn’t have.”
Gigi Hadid wins lawsuit after being sued over Instagram photo
Gigi continued to explain her point of view. “If something happens while the police station is closed, there is nothing that can be done to protect yourself, and when the station does open it doesn’t seem as though their training and resources are in line with keeping people safe or keeping up with the amount of crime that is happening o a nightly basis (I speaking of the island specifically only because it’s where I experienced this).”
The popular fashion it-girl, who boasts over 41 million followers on Instagram, also asserted she would never have vacationed in Greece if she knew about the ‘security situation.’
“This is my opinion based on actual events and you not liking it isn’t my problem. Lastly, I work my a** off and never do a trip like this for myself and friends, so if I want to post pictures of the trip after being robbed, I will do so.”

Indan Court Has Issued Arrest Warrabts Of Congress Leader Shashi Tharor
A court in India issued on Tuesday an arrest warrant for Congress leader Shashi Tharoor over his comment that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to rewrite the constitution, paving the way for the creation of a “Hindu Pakistan.”
According to The Hindu, the statement had sparked furore in the ruling BJP with the party now demanding an apology.
During a speech last year, Tharoor had said that BJP’s return to power for the second term would pave the way for the creation of a “Hindu Pakistan.”
Chief metropolitan magistrate Dipanjan Sen issued a bailable warrant against the Congress leader on a petition by lawyer Sumit Chowdhury, who claimed the statement promoted disharmony.
The politician and renowned writer has been vocal of his criticism of his government’s decision to strip Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) of its special status, terming the move as “unconstitutional”.
“This is not the Indian democracy we have cherished for more than seven decades,” the former Indian foreign minister had tweeted right after New Delhi’s move to revoke Article 370 and enforce an information blockade in the Himalayan valley.
A raft of other prominent Indian opinion makers, ranging from politicians and journalists to legal experts to academics, joined the chorus of condemnation of what they unanimously agreed was an unconstitutional step.

Frenchman Lands In UK On Flyboard After Crossing Channel
A Frenchman who has spent years developing a jet-powered hoverboard zoomed across the English Channel on Sunday after a first attempt last month was cut short when he fell into the water while trying to refuel.
Franky Zapata set off on his "Flyboard" from Sangatte on the northern coast of France for the 20-minute trip to St. Margaret's Bay in Dover, on England's south coast.
Escorted by three helicopters, Zapata glided across the water in the early morning light and landed in the picturesque bay, where dozens of onlookers and journalists awaited him.
The five turbines on the former jet-ski champion's craft propel him at speeds of up to 190 kilometres (118 miles) an hour, powered by a backpack full of kerosene that can keep him airborne for around 10 minutes.
He had planned to make the 35-kilometre (22-mile) crossing in 20 minutes, keeping an average speed of 140 kilometres an hour (87 mph) at a height of 15-20 metres (50-65 feet) above the water.
Zapata tumbled into the middle of the busy shipping lane on July 25 after failing to land on a boat waiting in English waters to give him a fresh pack of kerosene.
"The trickiest part is really the refuelling," the 40-year-old Zapata said last Thursday. "I didn´t let up on the gas at the right moment."
"Aviation is the result of people who have had failures, and it's by getting back up that we move forward," he said.
This time the refuelling boat was bigger and had a larger landing area, and French navy vessels in the area kept an eye out in case of trouble.
French maritime authorities gave Zapata's team permission to keep the refuelling boat in French waters, something they had refused the first time around citing safety concerns.
Zapata's team had been racing to repair the hoverboard after it was damaged from falling in the Channel waters 10 days ago.
The main uncertainty this time around, Zapata said Saturday, was that his hoverboard might end up having "a little problem."
"Normally we test the machines for several weeks before big events. Here, it's a little bit worrying to be using a machine that has just been rebuilt," he said.
'My life's work'
Zapata has been developing his hoverboard for the past three years, despite losing two fingers during its maiden flight in his garage near Marseille, when they got sucked into the turbines.
He already holds the Guinness World Record for the farthest hoverboard flight, a 2.2-kilometre trip over the Mediterranean Sea in April 2016.
No Guinness adjudicator was on hand for the latest Channel attempt, though a spokeswoman said he could still be awarded a new record if the trip meets its guidelines.
Zapata burst into the spotlight at this year's July 14 Bastille Day military parade in Paris, where he and his craft soared noisily above a crowd of stunned onlookers that included French President Emmanuel Macron.
His device has also captured the attention of the French military, which in December gave Zapata's company, Z-AIR, a 1.3 million euro ($1.4 million) development grant.
Defence Minister Florence Parly told France Inter radio that it might eventually serve a variety of purposes, "for example as a flying logistical platform or, indeed, as an assault platform."
"I can't help it, the first time I saw it fly I said, 'This is going to be my life's work'," Zapata told the French online media site Brut in a recent interview.

Jafferey Epstein's Guard Did Not Check His Cell Phone The Night He Hanged Himself (Video)
Guards at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan jail did not follow procedure and check on prisoners every 30 minutes the night the pedophile took his own life, a source has revealed.
The former financier, 66, was found hanging in his prison cell shortly before 7am and was rushed to nearby New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A photo has emerged of the pedophile's body being wheeled into hospital on a gurney.
The source told the news agency that two jail guards at the Metropolitan Correctional Center are required to make separate checks on all prisoners every 30 minutes, but that procedure was not followed overnight.
In addition, every 15 minutes guards are required to make another check on prisoners who are on suicide watch.
The decision to remove Epstein, who was possibly the most high-profile inmate in the federal jail system, from suicide watch has both baffled former wardens and veterans of the federal prison system alike.
A separate source revealed to DailyMail.com that Epstein actually told prison guards and fellow inmates that he believed someone had tried to kill him in the weeks before his death.
The insider, who had seen the disgraced financier on several occasions during his incarceration at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, also claims that the normally reserved Epstein seemed to be in good spirits.
'There was no indication that he might try to take his own life,' the source told DailyMail.com
'From what I saw, he was finally starting to adjust to prison. I think he was comforted by the rigidity of his new life.'
But his suicide comes two weeks after he was hospitalized following what may have been an initial attempt to take his own life.
On July 24, Epstein was rushed to hospital under police guard after he was discovered semi-conscious on the floor of his prison cell in the fetal position. He spent several hours receiving medical attention before he was transported back to jail.
It has not been confirmed whether Epstein attempted suicide, or whether he may have been attacked inside his prison cell.
The news that guards failed to follow procedure and Epstein's fears of being a target come amid growing outrage that the pedophile escaped justice and his alleged victims may never get closure they so desperately need.

Preet Bharara, a former Manhattan-based U.S. attorney, explained that guards generally remove any prisoner placed on suicide watch from the Special Housing Unit where Epstein was housed. The unit separates inmates such as accused sex offenders from the general population for their protection.
'So it seems that Epstein was in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) but not recently on suicide watch, which according to BOP’s Suicide Prevention Program, requires removal from the SHU,' he tweeted on Saturday.
Bharara said he was dumbfounded, adding: 'It’s possible Epstein was placed on suicide watch for some time and then returned to the SHU, prematurely. DOJ says FBI is investigating. Public deserves answers.
'There will both an FBI investigation + Inspector General investigation into Epstein’s death.'
'
Epstein's suicide was likely recorded by jail cameras, said Bharara. 'One hopes it is complete, conclusive, and secured,' he tweeted.
Attorney General Bill Barr said he was 'appalled' to learn Epstein was able to commit suicide in his federal jail cell and has ordered the FBI to investigate the pedophile's death.
He said in a statement released on Saturday: 'I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody.
'Mr. Epstein's death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI's investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein's death.'
According to a prison officer, Epstein was being kept in a special unit with additional security, but he was not being actively surveyed by officials at the facility.
'For them to pull him off suicide watch is shocking,' Cameron Lindsay, a former warden, told NBC News.
'For someone this high-profile, with these allegations and this many victims, who has had a suicide attempt in the last few weeks, you can take absolutely no chances. You leave him on suicide watch until he's out of there.'

Meanwhile, a number of other high-profile Washington figures have demanded more information as to what happened to Epstein.
Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter shortly after news of the millionaire's death broke, stating: 'We need answers. Lots of them'.
‘I agree with AOC,’ declared Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz. ‘Chairman @RepJerryNadler should prioritize a Judiciary investigation into how Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody (in Nadler’s own neighborhood!) over the Kavanaugh confirmation (which already happened), and the Russia Hoax (which never happened).’
2020 Presidential hopefuls Amy Klobuchar and Kirsten Gillibrand also demanded transparency as to the details of Epstein's death.
Following news of the Epstein's death, several alleged victims spoke of their anger at the fact the millionaire will not face justice for his alleged crimes.
Jennifer Araoz - who claimed she was raped by Epstein at the age of 15 - said: 'I am angry Jeffrey Epstein won’t have to face his survivors of his abuse in court. We have to live with the scars of his actions for the rest of our lives, while he will never face the consequences of the crimes he committed...
'The pain and trauma he caused so many people. Epstein is gone, but justice must still be served. I hope the authorities will pursue and prosecute his accomplices and enablers, and ensure redress for his victims.'
Michelle Licata, who claimed she was a victim in Florida at 16 years old, said she didn't want him dead.
'I just wanted him to be held accountable for his actions. Simple as that,' Licata said.
Eva Ford, mother of alleged victim Courtney Wild, said to The Miami Herald: 'How does someone who is this high profile commit suicide? They had to have cameras on him! Someone must have been paid to look the other way,’
Attorney Lisa Bloom - who represents three of the millionaire's alleged sex trafficking victims - shared a statement from one of her anonymous accusers.

'I will never have a sense of closure now. I am angry as hell that the prison could have allowed this to happen and that I and his other victims will never see him face the consequences for his horrendous actions,' the statement read.
'I hope that whoever allowed this to happen also faces some type of consequence. You stole from us, the huge piece of healing that we needed to move on with our lives.'
Brad Edwards, who represents Virginia Roberts Giuffre and Wild, told Fox News: 'The fact that Jeffrey Epstein was able to commit the selfish act of taking his own life as his world of abuse, exploitation, and corruption unraveled in both unfortunate and predictable.
'While we engaged in contentious legal battles for more than a decade, this is not the ending anyone was looking for.'
Edwards added: 'The victims deserved to see Epstein held accountable, and he owed it to everyone he hurt to accept responsibility for all of the pain he caused. It is never too late to come forward with information. We will continue to represent his victims and will not stop in their pursuit of finality and justice.'
Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse wrote a letter to Barr, telling him 'heads must roll'.
'The Department of Justice failed, and today Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators think they might have just gotten one last sweetheart deal,' the senator said. 'Every single person in the Justice Department — from your Main Justice headquarters staff all the way to the night-shift jailer — knew that this man was a suicide risk, and that his dark secrets couldn’t be allowed to die with him.

'Powerful Democratic and Republican figures breathing a huge sigh of relief—as well as a Harvard professor or two,' he wrote, before adding: 'The rich and powerful get away with raping young girls...again.'
But the Trump foe wasn't the only big name to express their skepticism about how the inmate was able to kill himself in a highly secured part of the jail not long after being take off suicide watch.
Lynne Patton, a regional administrator with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Trump loyalist, even shared a clip of the DailyMail.com coverage of Epstein's death.
She commented: 'Hillary'd!! P.S. Let me know when I'm supposed to feel badly about this.'
This seemed to be a suggestion that Bill and Hillary Clinton were somehow involved in the death, seeing as the former president and Epstein were once associates.

One conspiracy theorist even scrawled 'XOXO Hillary + Bill' on the sidewalk outside Epstein's $77million Upper East Side townhouse.
The FBI raided the home in July, where they uncovered a 'vast trove' of hundreds or even thousands of lewd photographs of young women or girls.
The 'XOXO', meaning 'hugs and kisses' - is a way of signing off a message so it appears as though it was written by Hillary and Bill Clinton.
The message follows the #ClintonBodyCount hashtag that circulated on social media by conspiracy theorists in an effort to point fingers at Bill and Hillary, adding to the speculation and confusion surrounding Epstein's Saturday morning death.
Michael Coudrey, one of the co-founders of the New Right US, wrote: 'BREAKING: Alleged "camera malfunction" last night at MCC where Jeffrey Epstein was locked up #EpsteinFiles.'
Coudrey was also one of the pushers of #ClintonBodyCount hashtag and suggested that the couple had a hand in also killing Seth Rich, an employee for the Democratic National Committee. Conspiracy theorists believed he leaked the DNC emails in 2016.
Many of those using the hashtag were found to be bots.
And although President Donald Trump has not commented on the death of his former friend Epstein, he did retweet a conspiracy theory linking Bill and Hillary to the suicide.
Trump’s Twitter feed includes a link to a breaking news site which claims that unsealed court documents revealed ‘top Democrats, including Bill Clinton, took private trips to Jeffrey Epstein’s “pedophilia island”.’
The president also retweeted a post from Terrence K. Williams, an actor and comedian who is known for his conservative views.
Williams tweeted: ‘Died of SUICIDE on 24/7 SUICIDE WATCH ? Yeah right! How does that happen…[Epstein] had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead.

‘I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this!’
The post ended with the hashtags #ClintonBodyCount and #ClintonCrimeFamily.
After Epstein's arrest last month, Bill Clinton issued a statement denying that he had ever been to Epstein's island in the Caribbean.
On Twitter the hashtag 'Epsteinmurder' was quickly trending.
Epstein had been placed on suicide watch following an incident just over two weeks ago in which he was discovered with bruises on his neck. But he was taken off of suicide watch at the end of July.
Just days ago, Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer for three of his victims, warned: 'There's no doubt that no jail will protect you when there are powerful people who want to reach you – wherever you are.'
Epstein, 66, had been denied bail and faced up to 45 years behind bars on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges unsealed last month. He had pleaded not guilty and was awaiting trial on accusations of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls.
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, now an attorney for President Donald Trump, tweeted out several questions about Epstein's death Saturday afternoon.
'Who was watching? What does camera show?... Follow the motives,' he wrote.

Claire McCaskill, a former Democratic Senator, said: 'Something stinks to high heaven. How does someone on suicide watch hang himself with no intervention? Impossible. Unless...'
Some internet users observed that the New York prison where he died was under the watch of Attorney General William Barr, who was chosen to head the Justice Department by Donald Trump, once an associate of Epstein.
Another extraordinary theory was that Epstein was assassinated by Saudi officials.
One tweet read: 'The murder of Jeffrey Epstein is the most blatant display of the power of the deep state I've seen since the CIA killed JFK.'
Epstein's case had already prompted online rumors and conspiracy theories given past friendships with prominent men including Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, as well as the 2008 deal in Florida that allowed him to plead to soliciting a minor for prostitution to avoid more serious charges.
Prince Andrew may be dragged deeper into Epstein 'sex slave' scandal
Prince Andrew may be dragged deeper into the Jeffrey Epstein 'sex slave' scandal as sources said a FBI inquiry would now switch to the billionaire's associates.
Epstein, a former friend of the Duke of York, hanged himself in his New York prison cell yesterday just hours after explosive new documents emerged detailing his depraved activities. The court papers repeated claims that the Duke slept with Virginia Roberts, 17 at the time and one of Epstein's 'sex slaves', and groped a 21-year-old woman. The Prince denies the claims.
Andrew learned of his one-time friend's suicide while on vacation at Balmoral Castle with the Queen, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their two daughters.

As Epstein's death fueled a raft of conspiracy theories last night, lawyers for his alleged victims said he had 'cheated justice' and expect the criminal investigation to focus on British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, a mutual friend of Epstein and the Duke.
The latest legal documents claim she 'operated as ... Epstein's procurer of under age girls'. She has repeatedly denied involvement in his crimes.
However, legal sources closely linked to the Epstein probe told The Mail on Sunday that investigators will shift their 'full attention' to Maxwell, 57.
A legal source said: 'Ghislaine is the key to all this now that Epstein will no longer face justice himself. The victims deserve answers and she was the person closest to Epstein.
'Far from being the end to Prince Andrew's problems, Epstein's suicide could put him under renewed scrutiny because of his close friendship with Ghislaine.'
'Given Epstein’s previous attempted suicide, he should have been locked in a padded room under unbroken, 24/7, constant surveillance.'
Republican Sen. Rick Scott of Florida suggested the possibility that a criminal act was involved in Epstein's death when he called on federal corrections officials to explain what happened at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
'The Federal Bureau of Prisons must provide answers on what systemic failures of the MCC Manhattan or criminal acts allowed this coward to deny justice to his victims,' he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, an attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, Marc Fernich, said in a statement that jailers at the Metropolitan Correctional Center failed to protect Epstein and to prevent the 'calamity' of his death.
Fernich also said that reporters, plaintiffs' lawyers and court officials 'should be ashamed of their behavior' following Epstein's indictment. He said Epstein had 'long since paid his debt to society' for his crimes.
The world was left stunned early Saturday after news that Epstein was found hanging in his prison cell shortly before 7am.
On Saturday afternoon, a black bag believed to contain Epstein's body was pictured being taken out of the hospital.
The body was later switched into a white van belonging to a medical examiner, before it was transported away.
A coroner will now perform an investigation.
In a statement, Metropolitan Correctional Center told DailyMail.com that the FBI is now launching an investigation into Epstein's death.
The former financier, 66, was awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking and was being held at the high-security complex without bail.
Epstein - who once boasted an array of high-profile friends including Prince Andrew and President Bill Clinton - was arrested on July 6, accused of arranging to have sex with underage girls at his residences in New York City and Florida between 2002 and 2005.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
BOMBSHELL COURT DOCUMENTS UNSEALED
Epstein's death comes just 24 hours after more than 2,000 pages of documents detailing the lurid allegations of his sexual abuse of underage girls were unsealed to the public.
On Friday morning, a federal appeals court published explosive documents pertaining to a 2015 lawsuit that Virginia Roberts Giuffre had filed against Epstein's associate, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
Giuffre claimed Epstein and Maxwell kept her as a 'sex slave' in the early 2000s, whilst she was underage.
The unsealed papers - which made international news on Friday - implicated a number of high-profile men in sex scandals.
They include transcripts of a May 3, 2016 deposition made by Giuffre, in which she alleged that she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell to have sex with and provide erotic massages for politicians and affluent businessmen.
Giuffre claimed that she was 'instructed' by Maxwell to have sex with former Senate Majority George Mitchell and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
Both Richardson and Mitchell have denied the allegations.
According to the documents, Giuffre claimed she also had sex with Epstein's friend Prince Andrew on multiple occasions, including once in London when she was 17 years of age.

The Prince has always denied any wrongdoing and in a 2015 court application, a judge threw out Guiffre's allegations that she had sex with the Prince.
The judge ordered the allegations to be struck from the record as being 'immaterial and impertinent.'
Buckingham Palace also issued on the record statements in January 2015, stating: 'Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.'
Giuffre was working at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort at the time she met Ghislaine Maxwell, who then went on to introduce her to Epstein.
Epstein is known for his previous friendship with President Trump but Giuffre has denied ever having sexual relationships with the Commander-in-chief.

Epstein was also an associate of President Bill Clinton - but the unsealed court documents reveal that Giuffre similarly denied ever being intimate him.
Giuffre was the first woman to go public with accusations against Epstein - and is the most high profile of his alleged victims.
The alleged 'sex slave' has previously recounted how she found herself being shuttled around the world and raped by men three times her age in court papers after she met Ghislaine Maxwell.
'Epstein had promised me a lot, and I knew if I left I would be in big trouble. I also knew that I was a witness to a lot of illegal and very bad behavior by Epstein and his friends,' stated one filing.
'If I left Epstein, he knew all kinds of powerful people. He could have had me killed or abducted, and I always knew he was capable of that if I did not obey him. He let me know that he knew many people in high places... I was very scared, particularly since I was a teenager.'
'When I was with him, Epstein had sex with underage girls on a daily basis. His interest in this kind of sex was obvious to the people around him,' she also stated.
'The activities were so obvious and bold that anyone spending any significant time at one of Epstein's residences would have clearly been aware of what was going on.'
JEFFREY EPSTEIN'S UNDOING: A TIMELINE OF THE MILLIONAIRE PEDOPHILE'S DOWNFALL
1999 - Virginia Roberts Giuffre is allegedly recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell to became Epstein's 'sex slave,' at 17. She also claimed that he forced her to have sex with his friend Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth.
2002 - Trump tells New York Magazine that his friend Epstein 'likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.'
2005 - A 14-year-old girl tells police that Epstein molested her at his Palm Beach mansion.
May 2006 - Epstein and two of his associates are charged with multiple counts of unlawful sex acts with a minor. State attorney of the time Barry Krischer, referred the case to a grand jury who heard from just two of the 12 girls law enforcement had gathered as potential witnesses. They returned just one single count of soliciting prostitution.
July 2006 - The case is referred to the FBI by the Florida Palm Beach police who were unhappy with how the case was handled.
2007 - Epstein's lawyers meet with Miami's top federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who would later become the Secretary of Labor in the Trump administration. They secretly negotiate the 'deal of a lifetime'.
June 2008 - After pleading guilty to two prostitution charges, the millionaire was sentenced to 18 months in a low-security prison in exchange for prosecutors ending their investigation into his sex acts with minors and give him immunity from future prosecution related to those charges. In reality, Epstein was able to work from his office six days a week while supposedly incarcerated at the jail.
July 2008 - Accusers learned of the deal for the first time.
July 2009 - Epstein is released from jail five months early.
July 2018 - The Miami Herald publishes investigative journalist Julie K. Brown's exposé on Epstein's long history of alleged sexual abuse and news of the 'deal of a lifetime' after Acosta was made Labor Secretary.
February 2019 - The justice department opens an internal review into Epstein's plea deal.
July 7, 2019 - Epstein is arrested after his private jet lands at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport from Paris. At the same time, federal agents break into his Manhattan townhouse where they uncovered hundreds of photographs of naked minors.
July 8, 2019 - Epstein is charged with sex trafficking charges which detail how he created a network of underage girls in Florida and New York, paying girls as young as 14 to provide 'massages and sex acts.' The charges carry a sentence of up to 45 years in prison.
July 11, 2019 - More than a dozen women, not previously known to law enforcement, came forward to accuse him of sex abuse.
July 24 - Epstein was found unconscious in his cell after an apparent suicide attempt. He was moved to suicide watch at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
August 9, 2019 - More than 2,000 documents are unsealed which reveal the lurid allegations against Epstein in detail.
August 10, 2019 - Epstein is found dead in his cell.
At the time of his suicide, Epstein was facing up to 45 years in prison on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking following his arrest on July 7.
The millionaire was taken into custody at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport after his private jet landed from Paris.
On the same day, federal agents raided his $77 million Manhattan townhouse where they uncovered hundreds of photographs of naked minors.
Prosecutors claim Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage teenagers, some as young as 14, at his homes in Manhattan and Palm Beach, Florida, between 2002 and 2005.
They allege the businessman was 'well aware that many of the victims were minors.'
The girls were paid hundreds of dollars in cash to massage him, perform sexual acts and to recruit other girls, prosecutors allege.
They say Epstein had an army of recruiters, often not much older than their targets, who would approach vulnerable teens.
After his arrest, Epstein was subsequently denied bail.

PREVIOUS CONVICTION AND 'SWEETHEART DEAL'
Epstein is a convicted pedophile who was previously served 13 months in a Florida prison after pleading guilty to procuring an underage prostitute in the state.
Prior to his conviction in June 2008, Epstein's lawyers met with Miami's top federal prosecutor, Alexander Acosta, to negotiate a 'lenient plea deal'.
Epstein pleaded guilty in exchange for the short prison sentence in a low-security jail, as well as immunity from future prosecution related to his charges.
It was later revealed that Epstein was allowed to leave prison on a regularly basis to work at a nearby office.
In recent months, critics have been outraged by the lenient sentence, dubbed 'a sweetheart deal'.
Last month, Acosta - who negotiated the deal - was forced to resign from his post as Secretary of Labor in the Trump administration over the fallout.
Epstein was released from prison in early 2010 and quickly managed to make his way back into high-powered New York circles.
He was spotted walking in Central Park with Prince Andrew later that same year.
Katie Couric, Woody Allen, Chelsea Handler and George Stephanopoulos were invited to a dinner at Epstein's Manhattan mansion alongside the Prince in 2010.
FROM MIDDLE CLASS TO MULTI-MILLIONAIRE: HOW EPSTEIN ACQUIRED HIS FORTUNE
Epstein was born to a middle-class family in Brooklyn, New York. He attended public school before dropping out of an undergraduate degree at Cooper Union.
Despite having no formal qualifications, Epstein commenced work as a physics and mathematics teacher at the prestigious Dalton School in Manhattan. He was hired by then- headmaster Donald Barr - the father of current Attorney General, William Barr.
It proved to be the beginning of four decades spent in the midst of power and privilege.
During his two-year tenure at the elite private school, Epstein met Bear Stearns CEO Alan Greenberg, whose two children were students at Dalton.
Greenberg was reportedly impressed by Epstein's quick mind, and offered him a job as a trader at Bear Stearns in 1976.
Epstein quickly found success in the field, and went on to work as a financial consultant.
He opened his own financial management firm, J. Epstein & Company, in 1988.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre is perhaps the most high-profile of Epstein's alleged victims.
She claims she is a former sex slave of Epstein and says the millionaire asked her to be a surrogate when she was just 18, around the same time he said she was too old for his sexual perversions.
Her allegations were made public when her since-settled lawsuit against Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell was included among the more than 2,000 pages of documents made public by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
In a deposition included in the newly released papers, Giuffre said that her father, who worked at Mar-a-Lago as a maintenance manager, got her a job there in summer 2000 as a locker room attendant at the club's spa when she was 16.
She said she was reading a book on massage therapy one day when she was approached by Maxwell, who noticed the book and told her she knew someone seeking a traveling masseuse. When Giuffre said she had no experience or credentials, she recalled Maxwell said: 'We can train you. We can get you educated.'
The court records contain graphic allegations against Epstein, portraying him as a sex slave-driver with an insatiable appetite for underage girls.
'My whole life revolved around just pleasing these men and keeping Ghislaine and Jeffrey happy,' Giuffre said. 'Their whole entire lives revolved around sex.'
Giuffre said Maxwell instructed her to take off her clothes and give oral sex to Epstein the first time she met him after bringing her to Epstein's Florida home near Mar-a-Lago with the expectation she would be trained as a masseuse.
Prosecutors have not accused Maxwell of any wrongdoing. They say they continue to investigate.
In her own deposition, Maxwell called the claims another one of Giuffre's 'many fictitious lies and stories to make this a salacious event to get interest and press. It's absolute rubbish.'
Giuffre managed to escape, after being sent to Thailand for her 19th birthday to take a massage course. She now lives with her husband and children in Australia.
Jennifer Araoz (pictured left as a teenager, and right in 2019) claims she was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein was hit with a lawsuit from Jennifer Araoz on July 23 of this year.
Araoz, now 32, claims she was 15-years-old when she met Epstein after a 'recruiter' targeted her outside of her Manhattan high school and lured her to the millionaire's house, located several blocks away.
For the next year, Epstein allegedly manipulated Araoz into giving him massages that ended with him masturbating while he showered her with gifts and cash.
The illicit contact ended after Epstein 'forcibly raped' her, according to Araoz.
Araoz claims she dropped out of school to avoid Epstein and her life quickly deteriorated. She is seeking damages for her emotional injuries.

One of the women who alleges she was 'lured' to Jeffrey Epstein's New York City mansion says the multimillionaire sex offender told her he needed to have 'three orgasms a day.'
'It was biological, like eating,' Epstein is alleged to have told Johanna Sjoberg.
Sjoberg's testimony was revealed after a federal appeals court on Friday unsealed about 2,000 pages of documents related to Epstein, the financier facing charges of sex trafficking involving dozens of underage girls.
The documents were released by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, as part of a defamation lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers, against Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime friend of Epstein.
Sjoberg gave statements in a deposition as part of a lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
She said that she was recruited by Maxwell in 2001, when she was a student at Palm Beach Atlantic College.
Sjoberg was under the impression she was being hired as a personal assistant, but she soon realized her job was to provide 'sexual massages' to Epstein.
According to The New York Times, Sjoberg was 'punished' when Epstein failed to orgasm as a result of one of her massages.
Giuffre alleges that Maxwell recruited her when she was 16 years old to be Epstein's 'sex slave.'
The lawsuit was settled in 2017 while the terms were kept confidential.

Jena-Lisa Jones claims she was just 14 years old when she was allegedly molested by Epstein in Florida.
The purported incident, which occurred in the mid-2000s, left Jones feeling traumatized.
'You beat yourself up mentally and physically,' the now-30 year old previously told The Miami-Herald.
Jones has become one of the first women to speak out following news of Epstein's death.
'God will have his judgement now,' she told NBC.

Last year, Courtney Wild told The Miami Herald that she first met Jeffrey Epstein in 2002, when she 14-years-old and still wearing braces.
She alleges that she helped recruit underage girls for the financier for seven years, alleging that he preferred those who were 'white and easy to manipulate'.
'By the time I was 16, I had probably brought him 70 to 80 girls who were all 14 and 15 years old... He wanted as many girls as I could get him. It was never enough,' she told the paper.
Wild was wracked with guilt following her association with Epstein and her life fell apart.
She served three years in prison on drugs charges and was only released in November of last year.
Michelle Licata (left) and Annie Farmer (right) say they were both victims of Jeffrey Epstein
Michelle Licata claims she was a 16-year-old virgin living in Florida when she was recruited by a high-school friend to give 'massages' to Epstein.
Soon after arriving at the millionaire's Florida mansion, she says she felt uncomfortable and he allegedly began calling her 'beautiful and sexy and gorgeous'.
She described an encounter with Epstein to The Miami Herald in excruciating detail last year.
Believing she was going to give the financier an innocent massage, she was left traumatized when he began masturbating in front of her.
'He kept trying to put his fingers inside me and told me to pinch his nipples. He was mostly saying 'just do that, harder, harder and do this...
'He ruined my life and a lot of girls' lives,' Licata told the paper last year.
Meanwhile, Annie Farmer said she was 16 when she met Epstein in New York.
'He was inappropriate with me,' she told reporters earlier this month, although she did not disclose further details.
She was one of Epstein's alleged victims who appeared in court on July 15 urging a judge to keep the millionaire behind bars, rather than release him on bail.

Court documents also revealed that a 15-year-old Swedish girl was allegedly confined to Epstein's private island and kept there as a sex slave.
The horrific allegations were made by a butler who worked for hedge fund millionaire Glenn Dubin and his wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin.
During a 2016 deposition which was revealed publicly for the first time on Friday, the butler, Rinaldo Rizzo, tearfully described seeing a 15-year-old girl in his boss's kitchen in 2005.
Rizzo testified in the deposition that the girl was brought to the home by Andersson-Dubin, a former Miss Sweden who once dated Epstein.
The butler said that the girl reminded him of other girls he saw at Epstein's home, according to The Daily Beast.
Rizzo said the girl sat in a stool next to a kitchen counter in the Dubins' home. She was 'distraught and shaking...literally quivering' as she described her treatment at the hands of Epstein's alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, and his assistant, Sarah Kellen, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
He claims he told her that they had demanded sex from her and taken away her passport and threatened her when she refused.
Rizzo testified in a deposition which was part of Giuffre's defamation lawsuit brought against Maxwell.
Giuffre also accused Glenn Dubin of participating in the sex-trafficking ring, according to court documents.
Dubin has denied the allegations.
HOW EPSTEIN 'STOLE MILLIONS' FROM HIS LONGTIME FRIEND AND VICTORIA'S SECRET FOUNDER LESLIE WEXNER WHILE MANAGING HIS FINANCES
The retail titan behind Victoria's Secret has accused the financier Jeffrey Epstein of misappropriating 'vast sums' of his fortune while managing his personal finances more than a decade ago.
Ohio billionaire Leslie Wexner said in a letter Wednesday that he recovered 'some of the funds' but severed ties with Epstein in 2007 as sexual abuse allegations first surfaced against him in Florida.
The letter was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, which put the amount of misappropriated money at more than $46 million.
It's unclear whether Wexner reported the allegations to law enforcement.
'This was, frankly, a tremendous shock, even though it clearly pales in comparison to the unthinkable allegations against him now,' Wexner wrote.
He added that he was 'sickened' by Epstein's alleged abuse of dozens of underage girls in New York and Florida.
Wexner is the founder and chief executive officer of L Brands, a fashion retailer based in Ohio. The company's board recently hired an outside law firm to review any role Epstein may have played at the business.
Epstein managed Wexner's fortune beginning in the late 1980s and helped straighten out the finances for a real estate development Wexner was backing in a wealthy Columbus, Ohio, suburb.
It was through Wexner that Epstein acquired his seven-story Manhattan mansion less than a block from Central Park, a 21,000-square-foot residence that has been valued at about $77 million.
Wexner said he believed he could trust Epstein at first based on 'friends who vouched for and recommended him as a knowledgeable financial professional.'
'I am embarrassed that, like so many others, I was deceived by Mr. Epstein,' he wrote in the letter. 'I know now that my trust in him was grossly misplaced and I deeply regret having ever crossed his path.'

JEFFREY EPSTEIN AND HIS BIZARRE LEGACY: HE PLANNED TO SEED THE HUMAN RACE WITH HIS DNA AND HAVE HIS HEAD AND PENIS FROZEN WHEN HE DIED
Multiple sources told The New York Times that over the years, Epstein revealed to scientists and close friends that he 'hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at his vast New Mexico ranch.'
A NASA scientist who attended one of Epstein's dinners after he served time for soliciting a minor said that the disgraced moneyman had based this idea on the Repository for Germinal Choice.
That was a bank which had been created with the intent of only accepting the DNA of Nobel prize winners, and ultimately closed down after getting a single submission.
Some suspected that Epstein's dinners were a ploy to kick-start his plan, gathering attractive college-educated women who he saw as candidates to carry his offspring.
Epstein also told one person that upon his death, 'he wanted his head and penis to be frozen' and donated to charities that supported transhumanism, the belief that the human race can further advance and evolve using advancements from the worlds of science.
Dozens of acquaintances - including one of Epstein's former defense attorneys - told the Times this was all fueled by his veiled fascination for eugenics, the idea that the human race could be improved through selective breeding.
Epstein mingled with the cream of the scientific community, and was heavily involved in many scientific pursuits.
He called himself a 'scientific philanthropist', donating a rumored $20 million a year, and hosting parties in the US and on the Virgin Islands.
