Wife in China Killed Husband For not Bringing chicken Legs To Her
A woman in east China stabbed her husband to death after he forgot to bring home some chicken legs.
According to Mail Online, the couple got into a heated argument in their flat in Lujiang county, Anhui province on April 13 after the husband came home empty-handed, according to Chinese media.
The woman then grabbed a fruit knife from the kitchen and slashed her husband to death.
Relatives of the victim, who was named as Wu Shouchun, said that the woman, surnamed Luo, became very spoiled and bad-tempered after getting married.
“She would hit her husband, but he would never retaliate,” Wu’s cousin said.
Neighbours also said that arguments between the couple were a daily occurrence.
Wu’s mother, He Changying, told reporters that her son was attending a business dinner when her daughter-in-law asked him to bring her some chicken legs.
However, after the meal, Wu forgot about the errand and returned home without the food she had asked for.
During the argument, the furious wife rushed into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and slashed Wu.
Wu’s mother was in bathroom at the time and said she heard her granddaughter screaming. When she came out, she saw her son lying in a pool of blood.
Emergency services rushed him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The couple, who have a son and daughter, often argued about the caretaking responsibilities of Wu’s elderly mother.
The wife insisted that her mother-in-law move into a storage room with no windows, which Wu adamantly refused.
From then on, their relationship deteriorated, he said.
Lujiang County police declined to reveal any details amid ongoing investigations, the report added.

Abusive Hashtags against journalists on Twitter
witter users in Pakistan were shocked on Friday to find that most of the top trends on the popular microblogging site included such cuss words which we cannot reproduce here.
A guessing game started about the initiators of the trends targeting some media persons, with PTI, PML-N and PPP supporters pointing accusatory finger at each other for “stooping to new lows” in their political slugfests.
The highly abusive hashtags started trending after hundreds of users with political affiliations jumped into the fray. At one point, six of the top trends in Pakistan left apolitical users wondering if there was something wrong with Twitter.
Turned out it was happening and nothing was wrong with Twitter. This triggered a debate on the moral values and tolerance level of those participating in the slur campaign against the journalists they didn’t like.
The abusive trends scaled up the trending list and stayed there throughout the day when people used these hashtags to condemn them.
It was later in the evening that a new trend with
#staystrongBravejournalist – started in solidarity with the journalist community – called upon the Twitter authorities to take action against the offenders.
The journalist fraternity also called for the social media trolls to respond to criticism with debate, and not with abusive language.
Activist Gul Bukhari said in a tweet that such campaign is harmful for free speech and democracy.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri taking an initiative against the slur campaign with trend #SocialMedia Ethics asked his supporters to refrain from becoming its part.
Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawmaker and media personality, called for his followers to discourage such campaigns.
Besides journalists and politicians, common people also lamented the smear campaign against the journalist community.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex Will Take Only Three Months Maternity Leave from Royal Duties
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will only take three months of maternity leave after she gives birth to her first child.
The 37-year-old former actress is expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry any day now, and although she has the opportunity to take a full year away from royal duties in order to care for her tot, sources say she's planning just three months off before she heads back to work.
Meghan - who was known as Meghan Markle before joining the royal family in May last year - finished her official royal duties six weeks ago but continues to work behind the sc
enes with various charities, and reportedly wants to return to public life in time for Queen Elizabeth's official birthday in June
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Meghan has made it very clear she wants to return to work as soon as possible. She has huge amounts of energy, is extremely determined and wants to be as hands-on as possible with her charities.
"Nothing has been written into her diary just yet, as she wants to wait and see how she feels after having the baby. She's pencilled in three months, but she'll most likely return to public life in six weeks - on the Queen's official birthday, Trooping the Colour, in June.
"Three months' maternity is standard in the US for American mums - they don't normally get the six or even 12 months women get here in the UK. So this is totally normal for Meghan."
Prince Harry, 34, is also planning on taking paternity leave, though it isn't known how long he plans on being away from royal duties.

Prince Harry, 34, is also planning on taking paternity leave, though it isn't known how long he plans on being away from royal duties.
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed Meghan has been "nesting" with £60 scented candles from luxury brand Diptyque in her and Harry's new home at Frogmore Cottage.
A source said: "Meghan has really been struck with the nesting impulse in the last few weeks. She loves the candles and the cottage smells divine."
As excitement about the royal baby grows British Bing users are predicting that the couple are having a girl as 58 per cent searches are regarding Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan having a daughter.
Speculation is rife that the royal baby will arrive any day now and with Prince Harry and Meghan not letting slip what the sex of the tot is going to be fans of the British Royal Family have logged onto the internet for info.
Searches on Bing reveal that in March 83 per cent of searches about the royal baby were looking for the answer to the question 'Royal Baby - Boy or Girl?' and a Bing Poll suggests that 58 per cent of the public believe that Harry and Meghan will have a daughter.
The public are showing nearly three times the interest in mother Meghan over father Harry with 65 per cent of searches for the royal baby including 'Meghan' in their search, compared to only 23 per cent of searches including 'Harry'.
Bookmakers have been offering generous odds on what the baby's name will be but Bing users are seemingly uninterested in wagering money on the tot's moniker as only 13 per cent of searches were looking for the name of the baby.

Thomas Markle's father won't be travelling to the UK for the birth of his grandchild but hopes he can reconcile with his daughter, the Duchess of Sussex.
The retired lighting director hasn't seen his daughter, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex since before she married Prince Harry last May and it seems that won't be changing soon because he's staying in the US for the forseeable future, even though the former actress is due to give birth this month.
Sources told TMZ that Thomas - who missed the couple's wedding due to health issues - has decided not to visit because he still hasn't reconciled with the former 'Suits' star and believes she is in a "cone of silence", but he is hopeful their relationship can be repaired after she has her baby.
Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, arrived in the UK a few days ago and Thomas is said to be "glad" that she'll be by their daughter's side.
In February, Thomas made public a five-page letter which he'd received from his daughter last August, in which she told him she had "broken [her] heart into a million pieces" for causing her "unnecessary and unwarranted pain".
The note also complained he had made no attempt to contact her, rebuked him for giving interviews claiming he had been shunned, turning down their help and siding with her half-sister Samantha Markle with her "vicious lies", who she "barely knows".
In one extract, Meghan questioned why he told the media he had been in touch to tell her wouldn't be attending her and Harry's wedding after suffering a heart attack, because she didn't receive a call from him.
But he said: "I sent Meg and Harry a text telling them I wasn't coming. It was too dangerous after my heart attacks."
Meghan also hit out at her father for publicly criticising Harry, despite the prince being "nothing but patient, kind and understanding" and begged him to stop "exploiting" their relationship and "fabricating" stories.
And she insisted Thomas had done nothing to try and get in touch with her, despite his public claims she had rejected his attempts.
She wrote: "You haven't reached out to me since the week of our wedding, and while you claim you have no way of contacting me, my phone number has remained the same.
"This you know. No texts, no missed calls, no outreach from you - just more interviews you're being paid to do to say hurtful and harmful things that are untrue."
Thomas, 74, branded Meghan's lengthy letter a "dagger to the heart" and dismissed her claims, showing texts he believes prove he'd made attempts to communicate with his pregnant daughter and her spouse.
He said: "I thought it would be an olive branch. Instead, it was a dagger to the heart."

How did A Pakistani Woman Reach From Refugee Camp To NASA
Hibah Rehmani survived the Gulf war, lived as a refugee in Jordan, and then went on to become an avionics engineer at the United States’ National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA).
Rehmani was born in Pakistan but moved to Kuwait with her family when she was only a month old. That was until war broke out in the country. When Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, she had to flee with her family to a refugee camp near the Iraq-Jordan border. The night her family reached the refugee camp, there were no tents available. Her family had to spend the nights under the open desert sky.
“My fondest memory growing up is taking walks with my family at night. Looking up at the sky I was fascinated by the moon and the stars. It was around this time I developed a passion for science, space, and astronomy,” said Rehmani.
“It was a tough time for us, one of the things I remember from that night was gazing at the sky, the moon and stars, while trying to sleep on the cold desert sand. That was when I realised that I wanted to be in a profession where I could discover space.”
Her father was in the US at the time of the invasion, and after a brief stay in Jordan, she travelled with her mother and sister to Pakistan, where the family reunited. They stayed in Pakistan for a year before eventually moving to the US, where Hibah was able to pursue her dream of becoming an engineer at the University of Central Florida (UCF). After graduating, she started working for Boeing, which assigned her to work at the Kennedy Space Center as a systems engineer for the International Space Station (ISS).
“I was involved with integrated testing of ISS components and sometimes astronauts would stop by to either view or participate in the testing. It was then when I got more interested in this line of work and applied to NASA. I was fortunate and blessed enough to be selected by NASA.”
“While working full time at the Kennedy Space Center, I obtained an MS in electrical and computer engineering from Georgia Tech,” she said. In 2008, Rahmani accepted her current position at NASA’s Engineering and Technology Directorate at Kennedy.
“I work as an avionic and flight controls engineer and support NASA’s Launch Services Program, working on expendable launch vehicles and rockets. I provide technical expertise, follow launch vehicle testing, perform data reviews and provide technical assessments of engineering issues.”
“Working very closely with astronauts inspired me to become one, and that is one of my life goals now,” she added.
Talking about her visit to Pakistan, Hibah said, “I am meeting so many school students in Pakistan and they have inspired me instead of me inspiring them. Their questions and interest in this field amazes me. They asked me so many questions about space…I had not thought about such things before. If students, especially girls in Pakistan, get the support of their families and opportunities like I did, I am sure they can do wonders in the world”.
Rehmani also provides real-time updates to NASA’s LSP Twitter and Facebook accounts during launch countdowns when she is not providing engineering support to the mission staff.
Rehmani’s advice for Pakistani woman and youth who want to follow her footsteps was to persevere. “My experiences of life have taught me to always dream big and never give up. You will encounter obstacles in life, but do not let that discourage you from the pursuit of your passion. With hard work, consistency, and focus, there is nothing in the world that you cannot achieve. In STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, you may not see as many women as men, but don’t let that discourage you. It doesn’t matter if you are a man or a woman. Your passion and determination will make way for you,” she explained.
I was very fortunate growing up because my parents encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming an engineer. I truly believe that with your teachers, family, and mentors’ support and encouragement you can achieve anything in life, and that is my message to all the girls in Pakistan. “Never give up on your dreams and passion,” she said.
Talking about what fascinates her about Pakistan, Rehmani said, “I love coming back to Pakistan. The hospitality of Pakistanis is incomparable. I love meeting youth and students in Pakistan and enjoy our dialogues and talks.”

Death Toll in Series Of Bomb attacks Rises to 359 (Video)
The death toll in a series of suicide bomb blasts on Easter Sunday targeting hotels and churches in Sri Lanka has risen to 359, police said Wednesday.
The additional deaths were the result of the wounded dying of their injuries. At least 500 people were injured in the attacks.
The blasts have been claimed by the Islamic State group, with Sri Lanka’s government pointing the finger at the little-known local militant group National Thowheeth Jama’ath, but saying the group likely had ‘international’ help.
“Certainly the security apparatus is of the view that there are foreign links and some of the evidence points to that,” Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe told media on Tuesday night.
Islamic State claims credit for Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka
“We’ve been following up on this claim, there were suspicions that there were links with the Islamic State,” he added.
Overnight, Sri Lankan police carried out fresh raids, detained 18 more people in their hunt for those involved in the attacks.
Nearly 60 people have been detained since the Sunday blasts, which ripped through high-end hotels and churches packed with Easter worshippers in the capital Colombo and beyond.
It is the worst violence in the country since the end of a Tamil insurgency a decade ago.

Health Tips= Some Best Health Tips Ever
1. Copy your kitty: Learn to do stretching exercises when you wake up. It boosts circulation and digestion, and eases back pain.
2. Don’t skip breakfast. Studies show that eating a proper breakfast is one of the most positive things you can do if you are trying to lose weight. Breakfast skippers tend to gain weight. A balanced breakfast includes fresh fruit or fruit juice, a high-fibre breakfast cereal, low-fat milk or yoghurt, wholewheat toast, and a boiled egg.
3. Brush up on hygiene. Many people don't know how to brush their teeth properly. Improper brushing can cause as much damage to the teeth and gums as not brushing at all. Lots of people don’t brush for long enough, don’t floss and don’t see a dentist regularly. Hold your toothbrush in the same way that would hold a pencil, and brush for at least two minutes.
This includes brushing the teeth, the junction of the teeth and gums, the tongue and the roof of the mouth. And you don't need a fancy, angled toothbrush – just a sturdy, soft-bristled one that you replace each month.
4. Neurobics for your mind. Get your brain fizzing with energy. American researchers coined the term ‘neurobics’ for tasks which activate the brain's own biochemical pathways and to bring new pathways online that can help to strengthen or preserve brain circuits.
Brush your teeth with your ‘other’ hand, take a new route to work or choose your clothes based on sense of touch rather than sight. People with mental agility tend to have lower rates of Alzheimer's disease and age-related mental decline.
5. Get what you give! Always giving and never taking? This is the short road to compassion fatigue. Give to yourself and receive from others, otherwise you’ll get to a point where you have nothing left to give. And hey, if you can’t receive from others, how can you expect them to receive from you?

6. Get spiritual. A study conducted by the formidably sober and scientific Harvard University found that patients who were prayed for recovered quicker than those who weren’t, even if they weren’t aware of the prayer.
7. Get smelly. Garlic, onions, spring onions and leeks all contain stuff that’s good for you. A study at the Child’s Health Institute in Cape Town found that eating raw garlic helped fight serious childhood infections. Heat destroys these properties, so eat yours raw, wash it down with fruit juice or, if you’re a sissy, have it in tablet form.
8. Knock one back. A glass of red wine a day is good for you. A number of studies have found this, but a recent one found that the polyphenols (a type of antioxidant) in green tea, red wine and olives may also help protect you against breast cancer. It’s thought that the antioxidants help protect you from environmental carcinogens such as passive tobacco smoke.
9. Bone up daily. Get your daily calcium by popping a tab, chugging milk or eating yoghurt. It’ll keep your bones strong. Remember that your bone density declines after the age of 30. You need at least 200 milligrams daily, which you should combine with magnesium, or it simply won’t be absorbed.
10. Berries for your belly. Blueberries, strawberries and raspberries contain plant nutrients known as anthocyanidins, which are powerful antioxidants. Blueberries rival grapes in concentrations of resveratrol – the antioxidant compound found in red wine that has assumed near mythological proportions. Resveratrol is believed to help protect against heart disease and cancer.
11. Curry favour. Hot, spicy foods containing chillies or cayenne pepper trigger endorphins, the feel-good hormones. Endorphins have a powerful, almost narcotic, effect and make you feel good after exercising. But go easy on the lamb, pork and mutton and the high-fat, creamy dishes served in many Indian restaurants.
12. Cut out herbs before ops. Some herbal supplements – from the popular St John's Wort and ginkgo biloba to garlic, ginger, ginseng and feverfew – can cause increased bleeding during surgery, warn surgeons. It may be wise to stop taking all medication, including herbal supplements, at least two weeks before surgery, and inform your surgeon about your herbal use.
13. I say tomato. Tomato is a superstar in the fruit and veggie pantheon. Tomatoes contain lycopene, a powerful cancer fighter. They’re also rich in vitamin C. The good news is that cooked tomatoes are also nutritious, so use them in pasta, soups and casseroles, as well as in salads.
The British Thoracic Society says that tomatoes and apples can reduce your risk of asthma and chronic lung diseases. Both contain the antioxidant quercetin. To enjoy the benefits, eat five apples a week or a tomato every other day.
14. Eat your stress away. Prevent low blood sugar as it stresses you out. Eat regular and small healthy meals and keep fruit and veggies handy. Herbal teas will also soothe your frazzled nerves.
Eating unrefined carbohydrates, nuts and bananas boosts the formation of serotonin, another feel-good drug. Small amounts of protein containing the amino acid tryptamine can give you a boost when stress tires you out.
15. Load up on vitamin C.We need at least 90 mg of vitamin C per day and the best way to get this is by eating at least five servings of fresh fruit and vegetables every day. So hit the oranges and guavas!
16. No folly in folic acid. Folic acid should be taken regularly by all pregnant mums and people with a low immunity to disease. Folic acid prevents spina bifida in unborn babies and can play a role in cancer prevention. It is found in green leafy vegetables, liver, fruit and bran.
17. A for Away. This vitamin, and beta carotene, help to boost immunity against disease. It also assists in the healing process of diseases such as measles and is recommended by the WHO. Good natural sources of vitamin A are kidneys, liver, dairy products, green and yellow vegetables, pawpaw, mangoes, chilli pepper, red sorrel and red palm oil.
18. Pure water. Don’t have soft drinks or energy drinks while you're exercising. Stay properly hydrated by drinking enough water during your workout (just don't overdo things, as drinking too much water can also be dangerous).
While you might need energy drinks for long-distance running, in shorter exercise sessions in the gym, your body will burn the glucose from the soft drink first, before starting to burn body fat. Same goes for eating sweets.
19. GI, Jane. Carbohydrates with a high glycaemic index, such as bread, sugar, honey and grain-based food will give instant energy and accelerate your metabolism. If you’re trying to burn fat, stick to beans, rice, pasta, lentils, peas, soya beans and oat bran, all of which have a low GI count.
20. Mindful living. You've probably heard the old adage that life's too short to stuff a mushroom. But perhaps you should consider the opposite: that life's simply too short NOT to focus on the simple tasks. By slowing down and concentrating on basic things, you'll clear your mind of everything that worries you.
Really concentrate on sensations and experiences again: observe the rough texture of a strawberry's skin as you touch it, and taste the sweet-sour juice as you bite into the fruit; when your partner strokes your hand, pay careful attention to the sensation on your skin; and learn to really focus on simple tasks while doing them, whether it's flowering plants or ironing your clothes.
21. The secret of stretching. When you stretch, ease your body into position until you feel the stretch and hold it for about 25 seconds. Breathe deeply to help your body move oxygen-rich blood to those sore muscles. Don't bounce or force yourself into an uncomfortable position.
22. Do your weights workout first. Experts say weight training should be done first, because it's a higher intensity exercise compared to cardio. Your body is better able to handle weight training early in the workout because you're fresh and you have the energy you need to work it.
Conversely, cardiovascular exercise should be the last thing you do at the gym, because it helps your body recover by increasing blood flow to the muscles, and flushing out lactic acid, which builds up in the muscles while you're weight training. It’s the lactic acid that makes your muscles feel stiff and sore.
23. Burn fat during intervals. To improve your fitness quickly and lose weight, harness the joys of interval training. Set the treadmill or step machine on the interval programme, where your speed and workload varies from minute to minute. Build up gradually, every minute and return to the starting speed. Repeat this routine. Not only will it be less monotonous, but you can train for a shorter time and achieve greater results.
24. Your dirtiest foot forward. If your ankles, knees, and hips ache from running on pavement, head for the dirt. Soft trails or graded roads are a lot easier on your joints than the hard stuff. Also, dirt surfaces tend to be uneven, forcing you to slow down a bit and focus on where to put your feet – great for agility and concentration.
25. Burn the boredom, blast the lard. Rev up your metabolism by alternating your speed and intensity during aerobic workouts. Not only should you alternate your routine to prevent burnout or boredom, but to give your body a jolt.
If you normally walk at 6.5km/h on the treadmill or take 15 minutes to walk a km, up the pace by going at 8km/h for a minute or so during your workout. Do this every five minutes or so. Each time you work out, increase your bouts of speed in small increments.
26. Cool off without a beer. Don’t eat carbohydrates for at least an hour after exercise. This will force your body to break down body fat, rather than using the food you ingest. Stick to fruit and fluids during that hour, but avoid beer.
27. ‘Okay, now do 100 of those’. Instead of flailing away at gym, enlist the help – even temporarily – of a personal trainer. Make sure you learn to breathe properly and to do the exercises the right way. You’ll get more of a workout while spending less time at the gym.
28. Stop fuming. Don’t smoke and if you smoke already, do everything in your power to quit. Don’t buy into that my-granny-smoked-and-lived-to-be-90 crud – not even the tobacco giants believe it. Apart from the well-known risks of heart disease and cancer, orthopaedic surgeons have found that smoking accelerates bone density loss and constricts blood flow. So you could live to be a 90-year-old amputee who smells of stale tobacco smoke. Unsexy.
29. Ask about Mad Aunt Edith. Find out your family history. You need to know if there are any inherited diseases prowling your gene pool. According to the Mayo Clinic, USA, finding out what your grandparents died of can provide useful – even lifesaving – information about what’s in store for you. And be candid, not coy: 25% of the children of alcoholics become alcoholics themselves.
30. Do self-checks. Do regular self-examinations of your breasts. Most partners are more than happy to help, not just because breast cancer is the most common cancer among SA women. The best time to examine your breasts is in the week after your period.
31. My smear campaign. Have a pap smear once a year. Not on our list of favourite things, but it’s vital. Cervical cancer kills 200 000 women a year and it’s the most prevalent form of cancer among black women, affecting more than 30 percent.
But the chances of survival are nearly 100 percent if it’s detected early. Be particularly careful if you became sexually active at an early age, have had multiple sex partners or smoke.
32. Understand hormones. Recent research suggests that short-term (less than five years) use of HRT is not associated with an increase in the risk of breast cancer, but that using it for more than ten years might be. Breast cancer is detected earlier in women using HRT, as they are more alert to the disease than other women.
32. Beat the sneezes. There are more than 240 allergens, some rare and others very common. If you’re a sneezer due to pollen: close your car’s windows while driving, rather switch on the internal fan (drawing in air from the outside), and avoid being outdoors between 5am and 10 am when pollen counts are at their highest; stick to holidays in areas with low pollen counts, such as the seaside and stay away from freshly cut grass.
33. Doggone. If you’re allergic to your cat, dog, budgie or pet piglet, stop suffering the ravages of animal dander: Install an air filter in your home.
Keep your pet outside as much as possible and brush him outside of the home to remove loose hair and other allergens. Better yet, ask someone else to do so.
34. Asthma-friendly sports. Swimming is the most asthma-friendly sport of all, but cycling, canoeing, fishing, sailing and walking are also good, according to the experts.
Asthma need not hinder peak performance in sport. 1% of the US Olympic team were asthmatics – and between them they won 41 medals.
35. Deep heat. Sun rays can burn even through thick glass, and under water. Up to 35% of UVB rays and 85% of UVA rays penetrate thick glass, while 50% of UVB rays and 75% of UVA rays penetrate a meter of water and wet cotton clothing.
Which means you’ll need sunscreen while driving your car on holiday, and water resistant block if you’re swimming.
36. Fragrant ageing. Stay away from perfumed or flavoured suntan lotions which smell of coconut oil or orange if you want your skin to stay young. These lotions contain psoralen, which speeds up the ageing process. Rather use a fake-tan lotion. Avoid sun beds, which are as bad as the sun itself.
37. Sunscreen can be a smokescreen. Sunscreen is unlikely to stop you from being sunburned, or to reduce your risk of developing skin cancer. That’s because most people don’t apply it properly, and stay in the sun too long.
The solution? Slather on sunscreen daily and reapply it often, especially if you’ve been in the water. How much? At least enough to fill a shot glass.
38. Laugh and cry. Having a good sob is reputed to be good for you. So is laughter, which has been shown to help heal bodies, as well as broken hearts. Studies in Japan indicate that laughter boosts the immune system and helps the body shake off allergic reactions.
39. It ain’t over till it’s over. End relationships that no longer work for you, as you could be spending time in a dead end. Rather head for more meaningful things. You could be missing opportunities while you’re stuck in a meaningless rut, trying to breathe life into something that is long gone.
40. Strong people go for help. Ask for assistance. Gnashing your teeth in the dark will not get you extra brownie points. It is a sign of strength to ask for assistance and people will respect you for it. If there is a relationship problem, the one who refuses to go for help is usually the one with whom the problem lies to begin with.
41. Save steamy scenes for the bedroom. Showering or bathing in water that’s too hot will dry out your skin and cause it to age prematurely. Warm water is much better.
Apply moisturiser while your skin is still damp – it’ll be absorbed more easily. Adding a little olive oil to your bath with help keep your skin moisturised too.
42. Here’s the rub. Improve your circulation and help your lymph glands to drain by the way you towel off. Helping your lymph glands function can help prevent them becoming infected.
When drying off your limbs and torso, brush towards the groin on your legs and towards the armpits on your upper body. You can do the same during gentle massage with your partner.
43. Sugar-coated. More than three million South Africans suffer from type 2 diabetes, and the incidence is increasing – with new patients getting younger. New studies show this type of diabetes is often part of a metabolic syndrome (X Syndrome), which includes high blood pressure and other risk factors for heart disease.
More than 80% of type 2 diabetics die of heart disease, so make sure you control your glucose levels, and watch your blood pressure and cholesterol counts.
44. Relax, it’s only sex. Stress and sex make bad bedfellows, it seems. A US survey showed that stress, kids and work are main factors to dampen libido. With the advent of technology that allows us to work from home, the lines between our jobs and our personal lives have become blurred.
People work longer hours, commutes are longer and work pervades all aspects of our lives, including our sexual relationships. Put nooky and intimacy on the agenda, just like everything else.
45. Good night, sweetheart. Rest heals the body and has been shown to lessen the risk of heart trouble and psychological problems.

Narendra Modi Threatens Pakistan of Nuclear Weapons (Video)
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday claimed that New Delhi has stopped its policy of being frightened by Islamabad’s threats and said its nuclear capabilities are not being kept for Diwali.
While addressing an election rally in Rajasthan, the country’s premier said that, “India has stopped the policy of getting scared of Pakistan’s threats”, according to India Today.
“Every other day they used to say ‘we have nuclear button, we have nuclear button’. What do we have then? Have we kept it for Diwali?”
Addressing an election rally in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh hours after a series of blasts rocked Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, PM Modi said, “India is standing by Sri Lanka and is ready for any help in the time of crisis.”
Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours escalated after the Pulwama attack, which killed over 40 officials of India Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in occupied Kashmir with New Delhi accusing banned Jaish-e-Mohammad for being behind the suicide bombing.
Within days of the attack, Indian fighter jets violated Pakistan’s air space and dropped bombs in Balakot. New Delhi claimed it targeted the so-called terrorist camps of JeM, a claim not only rebutted by Islamabad but also by international media and other independent organisations.
Pakistan responded and launched air strikes the next day. Its fighter jets dropped missiles in the open space in order to convey a message to India that Pakistan had the will and capacity to hit back. Pakistani fighter jets also shot down two Indian warplanes in a dogfight. One of the Indian pilots, who ejected the downed plane, was captured.
However, as a gesture of peace, Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to return Wing Commander Abhinandan within 72 hours of his capture.

Health Tips-- Some Foods That Naturally Whiten Your Teeth
We all know the common (delicious) culprits that stain our pearly whites. Coffee, tea, red wine: We see you. But are there any foods or drinks that can actually do the opposite?
Believe it or not, the answer is yes. Not only can the right foods and drinks help scrub away stains and make your teeth look brighter, but some can also actually strengthen your chompers from the inside—and make them whiter on the outside.
So if you're curious about how to whiten teeth naturally, here are eight dentist-approved picks to add to your menu.
Plain Yogurt
It’s a double-whammy, dental-wise. Yogurt is rich in calcium, which is essential for keeping your teeth looking healthy and bright. “Calcium-rich foods help strengthen the enamel, the outer layer of teeth that give them their whiteness,” says Timothy Chase, DMD, a cosmetic dentist at SmilesNY in Manhattan.
It’s also a good source of phosphorus, a mineral that works like a wingman to make calcium’s effects more potent. “While phosphorus doesn’t have a specific whitening effect, it does help maintain the enamel that gives teeth their outer beauty,” Chase says. Just steer clear of the flavored stuff. Over time, those added sugars can break down tooth enamel, dulling your smile.
Cheese
Like yogurt, it’s rich in the enamel strengtheners calcium and phosphorus. You’ll get the biggest bang for your buck from hard cheeses like cheddar, Gruyere, and Parmesan. Of course, you might not notice as much whitening action if you wash down your cheese plate with a glass of red wine.
Apples
Think of them as nature’s best designer toothbrush. The crunchy texture of apples acts as a gentle abrasive to scrub away the plaque that can leave your teeth looking dull. “The chewing that’s required also promotes the production of saliva, which helps keep plaque from developing. And stains attach to plaque like Velcro,” says periodontist and nutrition expert Sandra Moldovan, MS, DDS CNS.
Carrots
Just like apples, carrots’ hard, crunchy texture can actually help scrub your teeth clean, say Muldovan and Freeman. You’ll want to stick with raw ones, though. Cooked carrots are too soft to deliver much scrubbing action.
Milk
Drink up for stronger bones—and whiter teeth. Milk is another top source of both calcium and phosphorus. Keep in mind that the mineral content goes up as the fat content goes down, so you’ll get the most of both nutrients from skim milk. (A cup of skim milk has 316 mg of calcium and 255 mg of phosphorus, while a cup of whole milk has 276 mg of calcium and 205 mg of phosphorus.)
Celery
Breaking down the crisp, fibrous stalks with your chompers helps scrape away stain-causing plaque and boosts the production of saliva. Crunch away, people. And maybe dip into a little peanut butter while you're at it.
Strawberries
Not only will they not stain your teeth red, but strawberries may also help make your teeth appear brighter and whiter. “They contain an enzyme called malic acid that works as a natural astringent to remove surface discoloration,” says Steven Freeman, DDS, owner of Elite Smiles in St. Augustine, Florida.
For even more whitening action, try applying mashed strawberries to your teeth like a paste for five minutes then rinsing and brushing as normal, he suggests. One study found that this method can help remove plaque to give it a whiter appearance without actually bleaching the teeth.
Xylitol-Sweetened Gum
OK, so it’s not technically a food. But chewing gum helps your mouth produce more saliva. Why pick one sweetened with xylitol? It’ll help you avoid plaque-promoting added sugars, to start. But even more important, the sugar alcohol has been shown to reduce the formation of plaque, which makes it harder for stains to stick to your teeth. Try cinnamon or spearmint flavors—findings suggest they enhance saliva production more than fruity flavors.

Imran Khan Among The Top 100 Most Influential People of 2019 of Time Magazine (video)
Prime Minister Imran Khan has been named among Time magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People’ of 2019.
New Zealand premier Jacinda Ardern, who received global acclaim for her handling of the aftermath of a terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, also made it to the annual list released on Wednesday.
“Pakistan is at a critical crossroads, and the man in charge is the closest it has to a rock star,” journalist Ahmed Rashid wrote about the prime minister in the magazine’s special issue.
“Driven by fierce ambition, he can be cold and calculating. But he still generates the broadest hope among young and old that he can turn Pakistan around, and help make South Asia an ocean of peace…,” the article further read.
Leaders including US President Donald Trump, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed are also on the list.
Egypt footballer Mohamed Salah was also included on the list alongside singers Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and former US first lady Michelle Obama.
Besides Salah, other five cover stars are musician Taylor Swift, actors Dwayne Johnson and Sandra Oh, US broadcaster Gayle King and US politician Nancy Pelosi.
The listicle, which is split into pioneers, artists, leaders, icons and titans, marks the 16th year for Time 100.
